DRAWING LINES ISO 128-20:1996/ ISO 128-24:2004

The meaning of each line on technical drawing is
indicated by its width and its particular line style
• Thick/wide and thin/narrow drawing lines
• Line width (lineweight):
0.13, 0.18, 0.25, 0.35, 0.5, 0.7, 1, 1.4, 2, …
• The width of extra wide, wide and narrow lines
are in the ratio of 4 : 2 : 1

DRAWING LINES ISO 128-20:1996/ ISO 128-24:2004

NOTE:
• Thick lines should be twice the width of thin
lines
• All lines except construction lines must be
sharp and dark
