1. If you will be asked, what is the song/poem about in general based on your own
understanding of it?
Our present world has changed drastically because people have changed their perspectives on
things that surround them. Many are still blind to what is truly happening. Many are deaf to what they
hear about the world. Many of us have forgotten the word "humanity." And so, based on the song,
we understood it as a masterpiece that calls out people to open their hearts and brighten their minds
towards everything that truly matters. It redirects us to a sense of purpose that we need to uphold in
life. These purposes include our role as an individual, a student, a member of the community, and a
disciple of Christ. Life is beautiful when we make everything perfectly fine. We need to change for
good, not to change to the point that every single thing around us will become affected. The song
serves as an eye-opener, too, for us to extend our gratitude for all the heavenly blessings that we
receive and concentrate our minds on becoming people with purpose, where harmony is in our hearts
and humanity is on our minds.
Whereas the poem signifies that change begins with ourselves. As it was stipulated in the last line,
“we must first set our hearts right,” this means that we should focus on setting our hearts towards
goodness and start recalibrating our minds to do better so we will become not just a good member
of society but a bearer of hope as well to everybody. Our world needs us in these contemporary
times. We aim for peace and unity; we wish for harmony and solidarity, so we need to start with
ourselves to see a brighter tomorrow ahead of us. We can make this world a better place if we hold
our hands high, wave the flag of unity, stand together, open our hearts wholeheartedly, and make a
difference to inspire. Once we set our hearts on the right path, everything will follow, and the world
will benefit a lot.
2. What does the song/poem say or trying to say about the following list below? What
meaning can it hold in relation to the list particularly in our experience of them today?
Being present, being here right now, is one of the most important
things for our well-being, It allows you to fully engage with and
appreciate the present moment, rather than constantly dwelling on
the past. The song also tells us that as a community, we should

look deep into ourselves and find our purpose in life. It can also
have a positive impact on the community and society: Having a
sense of purpose can motivate people to engage in volunteerism,
activism, and other forms of social engagement that can improve
the lives of others.
