Narrative Report of the Drug Symposium

September 15, 2023

The National Drug Education Program (NDEP), which aims to prevent drug addiction
among students by fostering positive values, attitudes, and behaviors, was implemented by
the Department of Education in response to the urgent need. Drug abuse has long been a
problem in our society.

The resource speakers have presented and implemented numerous strategies to

lessen, ease, if not completely eradicate, the negative consequences of drug misuse on
society's culture and general well-being. Drug prevention education is one such measure.
