*Annual Examination scheduled on Monday, 26 February 2024 is postponed to Tuesday, 27 February 2024.
All other dates remain as per the schedule.
General instructions
1. It is compulsory for all students to appear for the annual examination as there is no
provision for a retest for absentees.
2. The exam scheduled on Monday, 19th February, 2024 will be conducted during the regular
school hours.
3. Wednesday, 21st February, 2024 will be a preparatory holiday for the students.
4. Passing criteria for subjects :
 Arabic, Islamic Education – 50 %
 Other Subjects – 33 %
5. Retest for students securing less than the above-mentioned criteria in the respective subjects will be
held in the last week of March,2024. The dates and timings for the same will be informed after the
declaration of results. ( Please note that students can be promoted and start the new academic
year only after they pass the retest)
6. The question paper will have a mix of both objective (including MCQs) and subjective questions.
Application, critical thinking and problem solving questions that require students to employ previous
knowledge and connect various concepts are to be expected in the question paper.
7. Students are requested to refer to the syllabus document shared to prepare for the examination.
8. As per CBSE guidelines and past practice, 30 % of the syllabus of Term-1 will be tested along with
syllabus of Term-2 for the annual examination.
