What is this resource and how do I use it?

Your child may need some help with this activity but should be encouraged to do as much independently
as possible. Cut out the capital letter and all the pieces, stick them down as shown and then colour. As
your child works, encourage them to list words that start with the letter ‘D’ and when they finish, ask
them to name the animal they have made.

Letter Recognition Have you made all the animal letters? Or perhaps you’re
just going to make your name? Have a look in our Letter
