Build in reliable yards (without being overly sophisticated)

Provide in-house vessel design, construction & configuration i.e. Seaspan standardization

SEASPAN TODAY
• Seaspan is the leading independent owner and operator of
containerships with industry leading ship management services.
• We charter our vessels primarily pursuant to long term, fixed-rate
time charters to the world’s largest container shipping liners.
• Seaspan’s fleet consists of 131 containerships, representing total
capacity of 1,112,000 TEU.
• Seaspan’s current operating fleet has an average age of
approximately seven years and an average remaining lease period
approximately four years on a TEU-weighted basis.

Seaspan is listed in The New York Stock Exchange.

SEASPAN CORPORATE DEVELOPMENTS
1) Purchase of Six vessels for $380 million
In November 2019, Seaspan entered into agreements to
purchase three 10700 TEU vessels and three 9200 TEU
vessels for approximately $380.0 million in cash. Five
vessels were delivered in December 2019 and the sixth
was delivered January 2020.

2) Purchase of Four vessels for $367 million


In February 2020, Seaspan entered into agreements to
purchase four 12,000 TEU vessels for an aggregate $367
million in cash. The four vessels, two of which were
delivered in March and two of which were delivered in April
2020, are comprised of three 2018 built vessels and one
2017 built vessel.
