3. Consider the following notes:

 A critique paper is a type of academic writing where the author evaluates and analyzes a
particular work, such as an article, book, film, artwork, or research study. The purpose of
a critique paper is to provide a thoughtful assessment of the strengths and weaknesses
of the work, offering both praise and criticism.
 When writing a critique paper, the author typically summarizes the main points or
arguments of the work being critiqued and then provides an analysis of its effectiveness,
accuracy, relevance, and overall quality. This analysis may involve examining the
methodology used (in the case of a research study), the clarity and coherence of the
arguments presented, the validity of the evidence provided, the author's expertise or bias,
and the impact or significance of the work in its field or context.
 Critique papers often include both positive and negative aspects, highlighting areas where
the work succeeds as well as areas where it falls short or could be improved. The author
of a critique paper should support their evaluations with evidence and reasoning,
demonstrating a thorough understanding of the work being critiqued and its broader
implications.

3. The critique paper must evaluate the selected text based on the following:
 information selection, organization, and development;
 claim/s, context, and properties as a written material.
