INTRODUCTION
Technical analysis can be defined as the process of predicting the price movement
of tradable instruments using historical trading charts and market data. As a result,
investors will be able to identify potential short and long-term investment
opportunities. It is widely used in behavioral finance and quantitative research to assist
analysts in analyzing trends in securities trading.

In this assignment, I used chart nexus software, which is a financial charting

software that can view and analyze stock charts from the world's leading stock
exchanges. I have selected 5 Shariah counters that are listed in Bursa Malaysia such as
CITAGLB, CJCEN, CHHB, CHINHIN, and CDB. The reason for selecting a counter is to look
for indicators that show the stock of buying and selling signals on the last day of
trading. The Moving Average, Rate of Change (ROC), Moving Average Convergence
Divergence (MACD), Relative Strength Index (RSI), and Stochastic are the five indicators
that must be examined in a stock chart.

From the chart above, by using the Moving Average indicator on the date of 25 August 2022, with a close price of RM0.90, there is
a signal to buy the stock because the share price (black line) intersects with the Moving Average (red line). Next, on 8 November
2022, with a close price of RM1.45, it shows a signal to sell the stock due to an increase in the share price, as well as a crossover
between the Moving Average line and the share price line. When the price of a stock is rising, selling it is the best option.

and the oversold line is plotted at -0.054. On 8 September 2015, a blue line crossed the oversold line with a value of -0.099,
indicating a buying signal because the crossover occurred below the signal line. The buying price close at RM1.962. However, on 28
October 2015, the blue line increased until it crossed the overbought line with a value of 0.104, indicating a selling signal with a price

indicates a sell signal at RM1.10.

the percentage of k is 12.5%, which is below the oversold line, indicating a buying signal with a price of RM0.80. However, on 27 April
