IT GO THROUGH MOONLIGHTING

Introduction
After covid19 pandemic the world goose through a change.
Employment pattern also get effected. Some rising sector with
excellent work environment faces lots of problems. After pandemic
ended post pandemic period a new phenomenon was getting to
show of holding dual job also known as moonlighting.
Literature review:
Recently numbers of IT companies declare moonlighting as unfair
and also faired employees from their roles dew to it. recently Wipro
faired 300 employees who working in other jobs also. in other side
some IT companies allows employees to moonlighting with some
policies to give them financial benefits by doing extra jobs.
Moonlighters, though small in number, have existed since the
initiation of work culture in the world as well as India. The
primary motivations for it are existing constraints in their main
jobs, acquiring a new portfolio of jobs which add to their job
characteristics, gaining training on new occupations, to meet
financial necessities, and lack of interest in the current
employment, among other things. Sometimes moonlighters
work in the same industry for their primary and secondary jobs,
and at times they are engaged in different industries due to
their job insecurities or considering future prospects of their
occupation.

 How IT sector get effected by moonlighting
Conclusion
Some companies like Wipro, IBM consider moonlighting is illegal and
unethical towards company. Employee performance are getting
down fore moonlighting. There is also chance to employee work with
competitor companies and also thread of data privacy. Also, another
side it gives financial benefits to employee. If moonlighting can be
done with proper way applying some polices this can be a success
