Dear Owner,

I am contacting you because I feel it is important for you to know a little bit about me, my
background, and my aspirations.

My name is Anastassia Block, although most people just call me Ana. I was born and raised in
the South of France to a British mother and a French father, which is how and why I hold dual
nationality.

A significant part of who I am stems from my upbringing, having had three brothers around
me most of my younger life, and my education. The combining factors of my studies in Cultural
Anthropology and Sociology at the University of Amsterdam and the household I was raised
in taught me the value of genuine connections and effective close-quarters communication.
Family is the foundation of my personality and identity, as I believe it forms the base of
understanding and empathy towards others.

During my teenage years, I spent most of my holidays actively involved in our family-owned
Pub restaurant. This experience taught me to prioritise customer comfort and to create a warm,
welcoming atmosphere.

I consider myself outgoing, friendly, flexible, and comfortable in diverse settings. Constantly
committed to personal and professional growth, I approach new challenges with a calm and
open mindset. Given my background and upbringing, I am confident that my skills align
seamlessly with the demands of the yachting industry.

I am reaching out to express my genuine enthusiasm for the position.

My strong work ethic and capacity for adaptation to different environments have always helped
my primary goal to ensure clients enjoy their time and feel at ease.
