Dates, Tuition, and Admission

PROGRAM TUITION: $4,950

Financial Aid is available on a limited basis. Requests must be accompanied by the parents’ most recent Federal Income
Tax form (1040 with all schedules) and a short personal statement.

Applications are accepted on a rolling admissions basis throughout the year. To apply to the Walnut Hill School Summer
Theater, please complete the enclosed form and submit the following items:

• A nonrefundable $50 application fee.

• A photograph of the applicant. This may be in color or black & white. An informal family snapshot or a Polaroid
photograph is sufficient.
• An essay of not less than 250 words about why the student wants to attend the Summer Theater.
• Two letters of recommendation. Forms for these letters are provided in this booklet. Recommendations should be
from teachers, coaches, or instructors who know the student well, preferably including a theater, voice, or dance
instructor. Please provide stamped envelopes addressed to the Summer Theater with the forms.
• In addition to the required personal essay and two letters of recommendation, candidates are encouraged to include
a videotape, CD, or DVD sampling of their work. Please note: all materials sent to Walnut Hill become the property of
the School and cannot be returned.

Open House
Open Houses are held on Saturday mornings at 11:00-11:30a.m. in the admission office, located next to the Walnut Hill
parking lot. Visit the campus for a brief orientation meeting and a tour of the facilities. Please call or email for registra-

Directions
From Logan Airport
Leaving the airport, follow signs to Boston and the Sumner Tunnel. Immediately upon exiting the tunnel, follow the
signs to the Southeast Expressway and Mass. Turnpike. (This will be an immediate right turn. Bear left under express-
way and take ramp up onto expressway.) Proceed for one mile and take a right turn onto the Mass. Turnpike West to
Exit 13: Natick/Framingham.

*After the toll, proceed to Natick, Route 30 East for 1.4 miles. At the intersection of Route 30 and Route 27, take a right
onto Route 27 South. Follow Route 27 (crossing over Route 9) for two miles. Opposite the Mobil gas station, take a left
onto Grove Street and follow to the end. Turn right onto Walnut Street and take the immediate left onto Highland Street.
The Stowe Administration Building is up the hill, on the circle to the left. The parking lot is across the street on the right.

From the Mass. Turnpike

Take Exit 13: Natick/Framingham. *Proceed as above.

From Route 128

Take Route 9 West toward Framingham to Route 27 South in Natick. (Stop and Shop will be on the right.) Follow 27
South over Route 9 and go straight through two sets of lights. Opposite the Mobil gas station, take a left onto Grove
Street and follow to the end. Turn right onto Walnut Street and take the immediate left onto Highland Street. The Stowe
Administration Building is up the hill, on the circle to the left. The parking lot is across the street on the right.
