 1. Introduction

Beyond the confines of professional and personal development, learning is a journey that
goes beyond traditional education. In this reflecting portfolio, I condense my path into a few
carefully chosen LinkedIn Learning courses. Obtaining a certificate is not the only important
component of this portfolio; I also applied my educated skills to critically think on myself and
my education, which are exactly in line with the objectives of my MSc the program. I will
analyze the rationale for selecting five noteworthy courses-out of fourteen-because they are all
pertinent to my academic and professional goals during my reflection process. The next sections
will demonstrate the acquired skills, the adopted learning process, and the real-world
implementation of research methods. These pages’ aspirant professionals require to succeed in
the fast-paced world of business intelligence. I will assess the usefulness of LinkedIn Learning
and analyze its transformative opportunities in this reflective description as a platform for skill
improvement. A strategic plan for continuous growth will be the end result of this journey,
ensuring that the skills gained are not just a provisional knowledge, but a means of advancing
towards a future based on research practices.

2. Achievement of Certificates

The certificates’ procurement is a tangible proof of individual's skill enhancement in

constant learning. Five courses have been efficaciously accomplished by me through LinkedIn
Learning, I have carefully chosen every individual to improve my research analytical skills.
Throughout the MSc program, the certificates make an understanding of the culmination of hours
of dedicated research and signifying commitment to the severe standards set.

1. UX Foundations: Research explores profoundly into user experience

strategies.
2. Learning Data Visualization: Obtaining proficiency in the skill of adapting
data into visual stories is called as learning data visualization.
3. SurveyMonkey Essential Training: Developing my skills in assessing
surveys with SurveyMonkey Essential Training.
4. Learning Design Research: Learning the interface between design and
research to produce significant solutions is known as learning design research.
 5. UX Research Methods: Developing the skills to make Insightful Customer
Interviews.

I selected each course due to connected directly to my field of study and provides
practical skills which are essential for understanding in-depth research.

3. Skill Development:

The LinkedIn Learning courses turned into initiating on a journey of study, with every
course having its own set of waves that that pushed me beyond the limitations of my research
ability. My professional activities will be maintained by the skills I have improved, which are not
just academic in the changing environment of business intelligent.

1. UX Foundations: With individuals to understand my skill has been improved by

UX research, which has leant me to develop research that aligns with their
necessities. I learned the skill of asking the right questions, which is important for
disclosing consumers' requirements. I was able to divide complex user feedback
into actionable insights with the analytical discerning improved in this course.
2. SurveyMonkey Essential Training: Survey design were learnt in the
SurveyMonkey Essential Training. I was learnt a way to write questions that elicit
responses that are unbiased. I am able to highlight conclusions with clarity due to
the second environment to analyze survey outcomes.
3. Learning Data Visualization: My perception of data has made through the
Learning Data Visualization. Data has converted into a canvas that I can draw
persuasive stories on, revolving it from a static collection of numbers. I now
possess the tools to create visual narratives through the taken courses that can
affect decision-making and take complex data in a concise manner.
4. Learning Design Research: Learning Design Research built a gap of aesthetics. It
helped to develop how to create design solutions that are aesthetically pleasing.
By making sure that each element has a function, the course has supported me
create my important decision for design.
5. UX Research Method: Interviewing helped me to improve my communication
skills, specifically it came to user interviews. The significance of actively
 listening and the skill of questioning without giving direction were emphasized,
these are abilities that are essential for capturing the essence of user experience.

My research toolkit has grown as a result of these courses collectively, I gained a wide
range of transferable skills that I can use to many different aspects of business intelligence. They
have given me the self-assurance to take on challenging research barriers and have prepared me
for an effective career.

4. Quantitative Research Analysis Tools:

Tools for quantitative research analysis are crucial for understanding numerical data and
drawing insightful thoughts. They include advanced software that can complex and large data
sets. There are a few essential tools and methods in brief:

1. Descriptive Research Design: I applied descriptive research design as the features of a

population or phenomena under study are described. The problems of what, where,
when, and how are underscored through this research methodology. A range of
methods, like questionnaires, case studies and observation, are utilized in descriptive
research designs to collect data. The data is assessed the usage of statistical methods
for finding connections.
2. Survey Research: I used survey research as a standardized questionnaire is used to
collect data from a sample of individual. This research methodology is entered to
collect data on individual opinions, and actions. Survey research permits researchers

3. Statistical Analysis: The method for examining quantitative research data is statistical

In research, the LinkedIn Learning courses present supportive views for applying learnt
skills. Researchers have a stronger ability to develop reliable surveys present their findings when
they have finished the courses including UX Foundation Research, Learning Data Visualization
and SurveyMonkey Essential Training and Learning Data Design which teach data visualization
and survey design. Deeper insight into research data is also made possible by learning to use
software like DPSS and NVivo, which improve quantitative and qualitative analysis. Financial
analysis provided by courses like “Excel: Financial Function in Depth“ and “Financial Analysis:
Making Business Projections“ enables researchers to evaluate financial consequences in their
study continuously. These skills improve data interpretation, research methodologies and
reporting capabilities, which improves the scope of research results.

6. Contribution to Professional Development:

My professional progress has been greatly influenced by the LinkedIn Learning Courses,
in addition to expanding my academic knowledge. The skills acquired are like the individual,

efficiently. This is an essential skill in many professional settings such as
organizational feedback systems and research of the market.
3. Learning Data Visualization: My capacity to communicate complicated data in an
aesthetically pleasing way has increased as a result of my learning data visualization.
This is a really useful ability in a world where data is king. My ability to effectively
convey facts is really useful and helps me stand out in the job market.
4. Learning Design Research: My ability to solve problems and apply design thinking to

Research Methods, interviewing, specifically when involves to gain qualitative data.

from customers or stakeholders is necessary.
In summarizing, by equipping me with flexible set of abilities that I can use variety of industries,
the LinkedIn Learning courses have made a big contribution to my career growth. These abilities
ensure that I can contribute well to any professional program I start on, in addition to increasing
my employability. I make sure that the skills I’ve gained from these courses will be crucial to my
success as I go forward in my profession.

7. Recommendations and Future Action Plans

With information I’ve gained from the LinkedIn Learning courses, I feel ready to set out
on a new path for my career development moving forward. The recommendations for action
listed below are not just goals; rather, they serve as a guide for maintaining quality in the
dynamic nature of research.

1. Continuous Learning: A continuous commitment to education is necessary because of

the constant changing landscape of research. The latest methodologies can be kept
up-to-date through LinkedIn Learning which offer a wealth of resources.
2. Practical Application: Fir the purpose of gaining practical experience, I strongly
support applying skills through project, freelancing and internships.
3. Networking: Professionals in the field can be accessed through LinkedIn to provide
opportunities and invaluable insights for collaboration when engaging with them
through LinkedIn.

Future Action Plan

1. Advanced Courses: My plan is to enroll in advanced courses that will deepen my

understanding of user experience to build upon the foundation of the initial courses.
2. Certification: My skill set will be enhanced in the eyes of potential employers by
pursuing relevant certifications.
3. Research Projects: My goal is to start personal research projects that address the real-
