ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
OBJECTIVE:
• Responsible for Plan, Schedule and organize site staff, material, and activities as per the
scheduled progress plan.
• Reporting to QA/QC Manager or Construction Manager or Project Manager to Daily,
Weekly, Monthly activities report, and update follow up to Supplier for material delivery
with time to site.
• Performing Filed inspections in compliance with National Electrical Codes and approved
Shop Drawings.
• Follow strictly with MTS (Master Time Schedule).
• Reviewing project deliverable for compliance with quality criteria.
• Maintaining project wise required Quality records.
• Maintain and Coordinate with the QA/QC Manager follow up client for NCR (Non
ConformanceReport),PL(PunchList),FDC(FieldDesignChange),ECC(ErectionCompletio
n Certificate),TOC(Test On Completion),RFI(Request For Inspections),EWC(Extended
Warranties Certificate) and all close outs.
• If analyze any non-conformity noticed and take appropriate corrective and preventive
actions, resolving NCR’s.
• Coordinate with Document Controlling Department to maintain and monitor the updating
of all records of the company.
• Leading the team for QA/QC Inspectors.
• Making RFI (Request for Inspection) for consultants.
• NCR Follow up till close outs.
• Preparation of IAT (installation Acceptance Test) Documentation.
• Conducting quality assurance and quality control inspections and weekly reporting.
• Installation, testing and commissioning of Power panels, low voltage switchgears, MCC
panels, lighting panels.
• Preparation of Method Statements, Inspections & Test Plan and lifting plan.
• Resolving the technical issue arises on daily basis on site.
• Inspection of cable laying (Power Cables), Low Voltage Power Panels, Dry Type
Transformers, Cable Trays & Conduit Installation, Earthing System Installation.
• Co-ordination with Consultant for Inspection.
• Review Material Take off to Ensure Compliance with Project Requirement.
RESPONSIBILITIES AS SITE ENGINEER:
• Installation of Medium Voltage, Low Current, Low Voltage Electrical Systems, MICC
cables.
• Supervise installation of Switchgears, Transformers, MV Panels, Distribution Boards,
battery charger, UPS system, grounding and lightning protection system, Cable trays,
local control stations etc.
• Provide Temporary Power Supply for work execution.
• If analyze any non-conformity noticed and take appropriate corrective and preventive
actions resolving NCR's.
• Coordination of works with other systems at site.
• Preparing daily, weekly and monthly activity and progress reports.
• Execution and Coordinating in Installations and Commissioning jobs with other
departments like Mechanical, Civil.
• Validate works quality and conformity with agreed standards and industry best Practice.
• Ensured that materials are timely in place for the projects.
• Carrying out the work according to the approved drawing.
• Attend meetings with client together with Superior's when needed.
• Direct supervision and give technical instruction to the foreman for the assignment
handed over and make sure that the job is done as per specifications and standards.
• Prepare correct RFQ Schedule and follow it as the work gets completed.
• Ensuring that all materials used, and work performed approved as per specifications and
based on the approved drawings as per standards of the project.
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise on site.
• Communicates ongoing work schedules and project progress with on-site team and upper
management when requested.
