Intellectual Development

CBSE AI SSC 10th standard result was declared on 12/5/23. The top score of the school
was 586, T. Yamini X B and stood III place in VES. We have been constantly achieving
100% result in AISSE. Our academic performance is also improving tremendously with 1
student scoring Al in all subjects, 5 students were the toppers and 7 centums altogether.

Open Day is a regular feature of our Vidyalaya. Every term we conduct open day and issue
progress card by calling their parents and discussing their wards academic performance.

Many workshops, seminars and academic meetings were held frequently throughout the
year to make the teachers to keep in pace with the latest development in the field of teaching
methodology.

Seva International conducted preliminary and main examination for the students in Science
and Maths in the month of March 2023. The selected students J. Balaji of IX A, Clyyapa
Prasad IX A, M Anish IX C, S. Hitesh IXA were taken to kuppam in Andhra Pradesh. It was a
5 days camp from 15.5.23 to 19.5.23. Shri R. Sobi kandan senior Science teacher
accompanied the students.
The same was showed to IX and X standard students through video and PPT to motivate
them. The students who attended the exam gave feedback to motivate other students.

Upasna Camp at Chitlapakkam on the topic Subject Enrichment.

CBSE conducted National Education Policy Webinar on 2nd June between 10:00 am. to
1:30 p.m. it was attended by Smt.Jaya and Smt Surya of English department.

20.06.2023

Reading Month' celebration commenced for the classes LKG-X std from 20.6.23. Students
took part in various activities for enhancing their reading skills and to create interest for
reading.
5 of our Pre-Primary teachers Smt.K.Nalini, Smt.N.Subbulakshmi, Smt.D.Gomathi,
Smt.R.Kavitha and Smt.G.Sathya participated in Shishuvatika Orientation Programme at
VVK. Annanagar. Smt.N.Subbulakshmi was the resource person.

On 06.07.2023 Expo on Plasma was conducted by Periyar Science and Technology Centre,
50 ofur students from classes VI to X and 5 of our stall Smt. Amudhu, Smt. D.
Umamageshwari, Shri. R. Sobikandan, Shri. A Rajesh & Kum. S. Monika visited

10.7.23 CBSE online webinar on 'Mental Health and Wellness for Peer Adolescent' was held
for IX and X std students.

Subject wise club activity was conducted for the classes III to X STD. This activity based
learning helps the students to learn easily with great enthusiasm.

On 11.7.23 Sri. Palani S.I. Nazarathpet Police visited our school to create awareness on
Drug Addiction and How to move with the strangers to X STD students. He also made one of
the students to read out the general instructions given by the Police Department

14.7.23 Handwriting competition in English and Tamil was conducted for the classes I to X
students to develop their handwriting skills. Winners were awarded with certificates.

20.07.2023 On every Wednesday parents are being involved for Assembly talks on Moral
Values from our Great Epics.

27.7.23 A programme on Shishuvatika was arranged in our school premises in which Smt.
Sai Sudha, Shishu Vatika pracharak gave suggestions on setting up of Shishuvatika
arrangements.

Mathematics Orientation Programme for VI to VIII Maths handling teachers was held at VVK.
Anna Nagar. Our Smt. R.Saraswathy Vice Principal of our Vidyalaya was the Resource
Person on the topic "Activities'. Our staff Smt. S. Karthigai Priya, Smt V.B. Preetha and
Sri.S. Munusamy attended the workshop.

2.8.23. Sri. Kasipathi ji Executive Member of All India Working Committee, Vidhya Bharathi,
Sri. Sundar ji Sangha Pracharak, Sri.Kesavan ji, Sri. L. Ramamoorthy ji, Vice President,
Vidhya Bharathi, Uttar Tamilnadu, Smt. Hema Kannan, Prantha Shishuvatika Pramuk, State
Executive committee member, Smt. Saisudha, Saha Prantha, Sishuvatika Pracharak, visited
KG Classes and observed the Sishuvatika practices of our Vidyalaya. They were

4.8.23 Smt. P. Vanaja and Smt. M. Bhuvaneswari attended a programme on 'Samskrita

Shibiram' organized by Samskritha Bharathi on 04/08/23 & 05/08/23)
Sambhashana Shibiram, 10 days spoken Samaskritham class for the parents was
conducted from 11.09.2023 to 22.09.2023 in our school premises.

On 5th August 3 teachers from Science department went as Judges for Ganith Vigyan Mela
held at VV, Kundrathur.
8.8.23 A motivation programme on Sanskrit was organized in our school premises for the
Classes V-VIII. Sri. K. Venkataraman M.E, M.B.A, M.F.A, M.Sc, PhD, Alumnus of VV,
Perambur Founder Director - Ramya Shri Kalalaya, Manager - Bio Vision Medical Systems
motivated the students and distributed the certificates to the winners of the Handwriting
Competition.

Centre, Krishnakandigai on 21/8/23 (Monday) and 26/8/23 (Saturday).

Smt J. Alamelumangai and Smt. P. Surya attended the IMCTF workshop Vels Vidhyashram,
Pallavaram, on 22.8.23 (Tuesday) and 23.8.23 (Wednesday).Participation certificates were
distributed by IMCTF .

For Scouts and Guides Sri. Ramakrishnan ji and Smt. V.Sandhiya ji attended one camp from

Samskrita Sambhashana Shibiram (Spoken Samskritam classes) ended with valedictory
function with the successful performance and attendence of 15 parents.
Akila Bharatha Bathra Vasan Organisation conducted quiz competition at Vivekananda
Vidyalaya Mudichur.Smt. P. Menaka ji, and Sri. R. Sobikandan ji accompanied 14 students.
Our school students won 1st place in Bala Level Quiz and they are selected for National
Level.

Smt. N. Subbulakshmi went to Krishnan Kandigai 2 days workshop on 11.10.23 and on

12.10.23 residential camp organised by Vidhya Bharathi for the Re-Union of Sishuvatika
teachers who attended Sishuvatika camp at Gujarat, Gandhidham.

conducted from 10.10.23 to 13.10.23.

Video making on Maths Villa.
S.Neeraja and S.R.Akshayadharshini of X B took part on the topic Project-Trigonometry
Identities,Mahalakshmi and M.Rakshitha of Class X C participated in Vigyan (Science
project based on Electronies), at Jai Gopal Garodia Vivekananda Vidyalaya, Annanagar.

they crossed 3 levels out of 6 at Jai Gopal Garodia Vivekananda Vidyalaya.

The Dyslexia Training Programme was conducted by Madras Dyslexia Assosiation for Pre-
Primary and Primary teachers. This was a six weeks programme all the teachers who had
attended got benefitted.

Motivation Programme for class IX and X was given by Sri. Varinder Singh, RT 30 Donor
and motivational speaker. He motivated the students of class IX and X in two different
sessions respectively.
