you’re still starting out and you need a retainer. Or when you’re in an emergency and you need quick
cash!

1. Most In-demand Skills for VA’s and General Assistants: (study at least 3. But it’s best
to study it all. (5 days)
a. Social Media Marketing
b. Chat Support
c. Appointment Setting
d. Video Editing (optional)
e. Graphics Editing (optional)

2. Prepare your portfolio: (it’s time to create a portfolio) (2 days)

a. A portfolio can be made via any of the following options below:
i. Wordpress website (most recommended)
ii. Wix site
iii. PDF (thru powerpoint)

c. Here is our video tutorials on how to make a portfolio using WORDPRESS
d. Once you’re done creating your portfolio, share it in discord and ask for feedback
or criticism from students. Or show it in one of Coach Maj’s classes.

3. Prepare your introductory video: (this video introduction is required in alot of job
requirements as a freelancer or VA) (1 days)
a. Shoot a video of yourself using your phone and follow the format below:
i. Hi, my name’s “your name” and I’m a “your desired job position”, I grew
up here in “your hometown” and my favorite hobbies are “you hobbies”.
The reason I love doing “your desired skill/niche” is because “the
reason”. I also know other stuff such as “other skills and apps you know”.
Lastly, my internet speed is “your internet speed”. I hope you enjoyed
this video! And remember “a special quote you like” See you soon!
 ii. Make sure you shoot this video in a nice environment from your home
and a good quality camera phone must be used.

4. Create your Optimized Cover Letter

Creating a cover letter that resonates with your clients is vital to get the job offer.

5. Time to apply for the job: Apply to the following places: (6 days)
a. Go to Onlinejob.ph, Upwork, and facebook and search for the job position you
wish to apply for or use keywords that’s related to the job you like. Apply to 40
different job posts in two days.

ii. Linkedin Leads: 20 leads
iii. Youtube Leads: 10 leads
iv. Instagram Leads: 20 leads
v. VA Hub Application (1) Application
vi. MyOutDesk Application (1) Application
vii. Facebook Group/Posts Job Application 25 leads
c. Talk to discord or Joanne and ask them you want to be vetted for FAVA.
d. Go to VA hub official website and apply there as well. We’re partnered with them.
