This week we have been interviewing each other to find out about our lives. We have been thinking about a role model and describing them.

Next week
Next week we will read poems about special people, review the unit and take a unit quiz at the end of the week.

Maths
Current week
This week we have been rounding decimal numbers with 1 place to whole numbers and using real life examples. We have also been reviewing what we have
learnt so far and addressing misconceptions.

Next week
Next week we will beginning unit 2 shape and patterns. We will be identifying different triangles and symmetry.

Science
Current week
This week we learned about Unit 1.2 Pollination, fruits and seeds. Students described how flowering plants reproduce by pollination, fruit and seed production,
and seed dispersal; describe how flowering plants are adapted to attract pollinators and promote seed dispersal.

Next week
Next week we will continue learning Unit 1.2 Pollination, fruits and seeds. Students will complete an activity about sorting the flowers on how are they pollinated.
Then on the third period, we will start learning Unit 1.3 How seeds are spread.

Global Perspectives

This week we have been thinking about what makes countries unique and finding facts.

Next week
Next week we will be exploring what else makes countries differ from each other.

 Current week
This week we continued to study unit 1 in which the students learned about video editing and created their own video about being safe online. In the lesson the
students accessed clipchamp and explored the different tools it contains. This includes the timelines, text, images and effects tools. At the end of the lesson the
students have used some of these tools to create the start of their videos.

Next week
This week we will continue our unit in which the students will learn about video editing and will create their own video about being safe online. In the lesson the
students will access clipchamp and explore the different tools it contains. This week the students will focus on adding effects, transitions and editing their clips.
