the guests have direct access to the foredeck with its

Atlantic Ocean and on the intracoastal waterway up
to New England in the far north of the United States.
They spent some time there, visited the Chesapeake
Bay and New York City and then cruised the same
way back to Florida. For the last couple of months,
they enjoyed their Silent yacht in the Bahamas
together with their Captain Jason Clay.

Vanish is powered by twin 135 kW electric motors, a

Dubai International Boat Show

Silent Yachts participated in the Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS). At the event, we were
represented by EV-Lab, our exclusive partner for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) region.

With over 30.000 visitors and 800 exhibitors from over 60 countries on display, the DIBS
is the premier yachting event of the Middle East. During the five days of the show, over 150
boats were presented in the Dubai Harbor, which makes an immediate impression as it is
surrounded by a beautiful modern skyline. This is even more true during the nighttime, when
the sight of the city lights creates a simply amazing atmosphere.

Our booth was located in the Marine Luxury & Lifestyle Hall. As the UAE’s first multiple brand
electric vehicle platform, EV-Lab has been the local pioneers for electric mobility on land.
In combination with their passion for sustainable transport and moving the world towards
cleaner options, our close partnership is key to bringing solar powered yachting to the
Gulf region.

In the words of their founder & CEO Kevin

Chalhoub: “We are honored to introduce Silent
products in the Middle East and are excited to
expand our portfolio to electric yachts for the
first time. To recharge the batteries with the
power of the sun, is a perfect fit for our region
as we have a lot of sun all year round. Silent
Yachts has proven that even a big yacht can
be supplied with energy for cruising as well as
for the household appliances only by the sun
which is a first for the industry!”

One day prior to the DIBS, our team also took

part in the Middle East Yachting Conference.
The overarching theme for 2023 was “Winds
of change”. More than 100 leaders gathered at
the St. Regis Palm to discuss a wide
variety of topics, ranging from digitalization and
cybersecurity in yachting all the way
to sustainability.

As one of the emerging markets for the

maritime industry, the United Arab Emirates
have enormous potential and are increasing
their investments towards renewable energies
as well as sustainable technologies. Of course,
the sunny weather conditions of the region
create the perfect environment for our solar
powered yachts.

A big thank you to the factastic team of EV-Lab

for this cooperation and a successful
boat show!

Jaipur Rugs, one of India’s leading
manufacturers of premium hand knotted

they perfectly match our ethos of
combining luxury and sustainability.

Their “Manchaha” collection is one

of the highlights from their product
portfolio. These rugs are made
completely from waste yarn.

The leftover yarn from weaving is

packed in sacks and sent to weavers
who then create one-of-a-kind
designs. Given the opportunity to
express themselves, the artisans
weave their rugs with a mix of
personal stories and elements.
The results are unique creations
featuring a mixture of inspiration
from food, colors, animals, musical
instruments, friends, family members,
dreams and emotions.

Founded in 1978 by NK Chaudhary, Jaipur Rugs revolutionized the carpet

industry by creating a new business model. The social enterprise directly works
with artisans in order to provide them with a sustainable livelihood. Since then,
the family-run business has been operating under the mission of benefiting all
the people sitting around its rugs, including the local communities, suppliers,
customers, and employees. Today, Jaipur rugs have become one of the prime
examples of how the combination of strong values with high quality products within
a company can create both economic and humanitarian benefit for everyone.

Eco-friendly raw colors further reduce

the impact on nature, while also
making sure the dyes in the rugs are
long-lasting thanks to a state-of-the-
art dying fixation process.

All these factors do not only result

in exclusive, sustainable carpets on
board of our yachts, they also provide
an extra income for the artisans.

Initiatives such as the eco-conscious
