LIFE (Learning Design)


L – Look Straight
This is the first part of the learners’ flight in learning. The
learners will connect to God in this step. The different
competences are introduced, faith and learning are blended
that connects to a higher learning.

I – Investigate More
This is the second step where prior knowledge and review
are given that will allow integration of previous and new
lesson. Content of the lesson is presented, activities are
carried out bit by bit. Carry out some principles of life in this
step.

F – Firm Up
This is the third step. This part allows the learners to
master the competences through the activities and
skills provided for them.

E – Exhibit Results
This is the highest part of learning where the learners
will demonstrate their learning in real-life. Rubrics is provided
to assess for excellent learning product. Prayer is offered.

Look Straight:

In this lesson, you will focus on exploring the different


weather conditions, which can be sunny, windy, cloudy, rainy, and stormy
day. You will be observing the condition of the atmosphere and record your
observations to tell the weather of the week. You will use simple symbols of
that particular weather in recording it through charting.
It is very important to know the different weather conditions
so that you can plan of what to do for a day.

Time with God: Say this prayer before you start.

Dear Father in heaven, thank you for keeping us safe always.


Please help me as I learn my lesson today, In Jesus name I pray Amen.

Safe in the Storm Matthew 8:23-27


Jesus is tired after a long day. He asks His disciples to take Him by
boat to the other side of the sea of Galilee, away from crowds. Jesus falls
asleep. Suddenly a severe storm arises. The disciples try t o save themselves
and their boat. They finally remember that Jesus is on board, and wake Him,
crying for help. Jesus calms the storm and asks the disciples, “where is your
faith?
If you had been in that boat, how would you have felt? __________
What would you have done? ____________
Jesus is very protective of His children. He knows and loves us very
much. But we don’t know Him and usually under estimate His power to
handle crisis in our lives. We sometimes panic especially on this pandemic
and call on him as a last resort. But He has been calmly waiting all the
time.
John 14:27 Says, Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you….Do not be
afraid.

Most essential Competency:

At the end of the week you will demonstrate the different

always thank God and seek help from Him.
In Jeremiah 33:3 it says, Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you
great and mighty things, which you do not know.

Jamie and her parents were out on a lake in their canoe.


Suddenly, dark, ugly clouds rolled in. It started to rain and the wind began
to blow-HARD! The canoe rocked up and down on the rough waves.
Thunder growled and lightning flashed. Jamie was really afraid. Her parents
paddled as fast as they could get to shore.
When life is different and when everything turns bad, always
remember that Jesus will help you when you are in trouble. In Isaiah 7:4 it
says, be careful, keep calm and don’t be afraid.
Prayer:
Dear in heaven, thank you so much for protecting me from harms and
dangers. Help me to trust you always, in Jesus name I pray Amen.
