ADP 2024 VERSION RELEASED

The ADMIRALTY (UKHO) has released a new 2024 version (v24) of the Admiralty Digital Publications software, the
release date for the application is January 18th, 2024.

The New version should be installed on all computers where versions 2019(v19) or 2023(v23) of the software are
currently installed. The ADP suite is not part of OneOcean and must be installed or upgraded separately. Please
see below for the information on how to obtain the new software and how to upgrade your installation.

Release Notes:
The ADP V24 is an optional upgrade from V23 and contains several non-essential bug fixes

You do not need to uninstall the previously installed version of ADP prior to installing the updated version of the
software.

Support for V19 will be withdrawn from July 2024, the only supported version from this date will be V23 and V24.
Users that are using V19 of the software should upgrade their installation(s) as soon as possible before July 2024.

Changes include in the new version:

• Improvements to the current ADP Software Development Kit (SDK)
• Base data refresh from week 49/23

How to obtain the new installer

We will be distributing the new installer in two ways so that you can upgrade quickly and easily:

• Via CloudSync (preferred): The updated installer (V24) is now available through our CloudSync portal
here.. Download the ZIP file (Approximately 500MB) and extract the content to a known folder then follow
the instructions below
• On the ADP Update Discs: If you have a disc despatch service, the AENP/ADP Update disc (from week
04/2024 or later) will include the updated ADP V24 Software installer. Once you receive the disc, load this
in your system and follow the instructions below

How to upgrade

NOTE: If you downloaded the installer via CloudSync, browse to the folder where you extracted the new
installer, and if you are using the installer from an update disc, load the ADP update disc in your
system, and open to the “ADP V24” folder.

1. Double‐click on the “setup.exe” file

2. If ADP was previously running on your system, you will get a prompt to stop to TTService, select to
automatically close applications, then click OK
3. In the “ADP Installer” window, click “OK” to install ADP version 24.x.x.x
4. In the "Welcome" window, click on "Next"
5. In the "License Agreement" window, click on "I accept the terms in the license agreement" then click on
"Next"
6. Unless advised otherwise, in the Destination Folders window, keep the default Destination Folders (for
program files and Publications data) and click on "Next"
7. In the "Ready to Install the Program" window, click on "Install"
8. When you get the window "InstallShield Wizard Completed" click on "Finish".

The new ADP Software should now be installed and should be available to be accessed from within the OneOcean
Software by clicking the links in the home menu. The ADP Software can also be accessed through the standard
program shortcuts in your system Start Menu.
