Objectives: a) have an understanding of the concepts related to optimism
b) understand the importance of being optimism; and
c) apply the key concepts they have learned to their daily lives.
Key Concepts:  Optimistic individuals tend to expect favorable outcomes in
various situations. They believe that things will work out for
the best, even when faced with difficulties.
 Optimism is closely linked with resilience, which is the ability
to bounce back from setbacks and adapt to adversity.
 Optimistic people are more likely to view setbacks as temporary
and see them as opportunities for growth rather than
insurmountable obstacles.
 Optimists approach challenges with a proactive mindset,
seeking solutions and opportunities for improvement. They are
more likely to focus on what they can control rather than
dwelling on things beyond their influence.
 Optimists tend to interpret events in a positive light, looking for
silver linings or lessons to be learned from difficult situations.
They are inclined to reframe negative experiences in a way that
emphasizes growth and personal development.
 Optimism is associated with greater emotional well-being and
lower levels of stress, anxiety, and depression. Optimistic
individuals are better equipped to cope with stress and
maintain a sense of hope and positivity even in tough times.
 Optimism is a mindset or perspective characterized by
