II. Session Outline
Session Title: “Power to create our own reality”
Session At the end of the session, learners will be able to:
Objectives: a) define key concepts about gender identity;
b) understand the stages of growth and development; and
c) practice proper hygiene to take care of themselves as they grow
and develop.
Key Concepts:  Physical growth among children refers to the increase in
height, weight and other body changes that happen as kids
mature.
 Child development can be defines as the process by which a
child changes over time. It covers the whole period from
conception to an individual becoming a fully functioning adult.
It’s a journey from total dependence to full independence.
 Good personal hygiene helps us to avoid harmful germs and
sickness. It also boosts our confidence by dealing with
problems like bad breath or body odor.

the importance knowing the gender identity
