EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

On November 18, 2015, Dr. C. Blaszczynski, Professor of Management at California


State University, Los Angeles, authorized a study how to make your audiences to be
engaged in your presentation and to make a better presentation in your future job and to
make interesting PowerPoint for your audiences.

This quarter, students did not use primary research and students use secondary
research. The secondary researches are scholarly journals, trade journals, and popular
magazines. This research already has the original data and experimental research
methods.

Findings show that the having a better presentation and make your audiences to look
interesting and willingly to listen to your presentation. Presentation is easier and quicker
to read than the report. Using PowerPoints can make your audiences to understand.
Practice makes perfect.

1. Sometimes, presenters use too many words and putting sentences. Putting key
words are easier to understand for your audiences.

2. Use your slides as your backup. Your audiences can read themselves if you read
to them. Use your notecard to help you to present your slides.

3. Presenters sometimes use bright color because it looks good on their slides.
Some audiences have problem with color blinds.

4. Many presenters sometimes make their audiences bored and using fancy
designs (typography) can be over-exaggerate.

5. Your audiences are not your friends. You have to speaking formally even though
you know them.

6. You can use your gestures and your audiences can tell your expressions.

7. Presenters can be nervous and start to use voice fillers. This is not a good start
to have presentation.

It is concluded that these are the important tips like using key words and visual aids
to engage your audiences. As a result, it is recommended that practice makes
perfect and remember to add visual aids.
