Pre-assessment of current knowledge: Before the lesson plan, I would have the students sit in front of the room on the rug and I would play different
children’s songs that the students could dance to and move in any way they would like to the music. This will get the kids introduced to sound in the
room and different beats in music before I read stories and have them learn two songs as a class.
