Way of the Punk Monk

There is no set inspiration to rebellion, sometimes you need to go above and beyond to defeat your
opponents and make sure they stay down for good--Teaching a proper, harsh lesson to those around
them who are aware of your presence. Those who stray from the path of a martial artist are considered
dishonorable bastards in the eyes of masters, much similar to the Ronin in Samurai culture and ode to
their code of Bushido. While you do hold your initial martial arts dear to you, you shun it and use
alternative methods that amplify your tactics, ensuring that victory is guaranteed and not left to chance.

Level Features
3 Delinquent Goju-Ryu Karate, Demon Ki

6 Explosive Ki Fist, Farewell to Purity

11 Rebellious Strike, Eclipse Form

17 The Forbidden Black Wyvern Technique

Delinquent Goju-Ryu Karate

Upon reaching 3rd level, you are considered a delinquent in all areas of
monastic temples, schools, and masters alike; as your form of martial arts
descends from the traditional, yet, Goju-Ryu Karate martial art, similar to
Shotokan (Or Way of the Mountain via Ken’s Expedition to Muramasa).
You’ve since, exchanged your original style to fight to kill, win, and
ultimately, at times, combine styles to focus on the lethality rather than the
artistic tradition of martial arts.

You gain access to three new techniques:

Rushing Headbutt: You perform an unarmed strike while using your head
this time; rushing inwards in a fierce headbutt. After a successful unarmed strike,
once per turn, you headbutt with a guaranteed hit, dealing force damage equal to
your Constitution modifier (Minimum of 1).
Abdomen Claw: You perform an unarmed strike while driving your hand
forwards in a clawed motion, directed at the creature’s stomach. Replacing an
unarmed strike, once per turn, you convert your damage to slashing and subtract
10 ft. of movement from the creature. At later levels, if the creature is stunned by
the Stunning Strike feature, and is targetted by Abdomen Claw, the creature then,
bleeds equal to your martial arts die until the start of your next turn.
Face Pin: You perform an unarmed strike while clutching the face of the
creature you’re in combat with, your hand open while digging your nails into the
circumference of their head as you rush inwards. After two or more successful
unarmed strikes, you can attempt to grapple the creature using your
Dexterity(Acrobatics) instead of your Strength(Athletics). Upon success, you slam
the target to the ground; knocking them prone. If failed, the creature remains
standing.

Demon Ki
Additionally, when reaching 3rd level, your unarmed strikes are infused
with ki that has lost its way; rather than its wispy form of soul-like aura, it
now shows in the form of red crackling lightning, but has no distinct
element despite its form. When you drop a creature’s hit points to 0, the
ecstasy of battle fills your soul and causes this ki to surge throughout your
body; whenever you take the dash action, you don’t provoke opportunity
attacks when passing by other creatures, and your next attack is done at
advantage. This benefit disappears after the attack, regardless if it
connects or not.

Explosive Ki Fist
Starting at 6th level; you gain the ability to channel your ki to crazily surge into
one distinct limb, at the cost of 2 ki points, you can exchange one of your unarmed
strikes to perform the Thunderwave spell. This is reduced to 1 ki point if you
choose to use your Flurry of Blows feature prior to the technique. If the creature
you’re targeting is pushed against a wall or vertical surface, their next
Constitution saving throw is done at disadvantage.

Farewell to Purity
Additionally at 6th level, when using your Deflect Missles feature, if you
reduce the damage to 0, you can choose to gain temporary hit points equal
to the damage reduced as the unstable ki absorbs the impacts of the
missile. Performing this causes the missile to disintegrate.
Rebellious Strike
Upon reaching 11th level, whenever you take damage from a melee weapon
or spell attack, you can choose to take additional damage equal to a roll of
your current martial arts die. If you do, you can make an attack of
opportunity using your unarmed strike immediately after their attack or
spell. Alternatively, this could be done with any of your techniques from
the Delinquent Goju-Ryu Karate subclass feature.

Eclipse Form
Additionally at 11th level, when you reach below half of your maximum hit points,
you may enter the Eclipse Form; your ki begins to leak at random times
throughout your body and rapidly engulfs your limbs upon attacks in a new form
of a dark shade of purple atop your red lightning, thus gaining the following
benefits:

•You have advantage on all Dexterity-based checks and Dexterity saving

throws that are targetted against you.
•When you make a melee weapon attack or unarmed strike, you gain a
bonus to the damage roll and roll to hit equal to half of your Dexterity modifier
(Rounded down).
•You gain blindsight up to 60ft.

This feature can be used equal to your proficiency modifier per short rest and
lasts for an hour.

If your hit points reach 0, the form and its benefits end. Upon regaining
consciousness, the dark shade of purple lightning begins to randomly surge and
scorch your body in a sense of unease, dealing half of your Wisdom modifier
(rounded down) to you in force damage a total of 3 times within the next hour;
this damage cannot be reduced or altered. This damage must be dealt before
regaining access to the feature. Furthermore, you cannot perform a short or long
rest; nor gain benefits from spells thereof (Such as the Catnap spell) Nor regain hit
die until this damage is taken.
The Forbidden Black Wyvern Technique
Starting at 17th level, you are considered beyond dishonorable and are now
shunned by every monastic tradition in history, from Long Death, to
Shadow, to Kensei and so on…Even the very unstable ki within your body,
has now abandoned you. However, you now know the reason behind this
rebellious path--The presence of a Black Wyvern has disguised itself within
you your entire journey, jointing its very soul with your ki. Its presence
allows you to keep your unstable ki in your body while suffocating the
lightning surges in a wisp of black shadow.
You are now granted two techniques that have been considered forbidden
by many monks throughout history:

•Eclipse Haunt: While in Eclipse Form, at the cost of 6 ki points, you

claw at your face with a verbal insult or boast of your power; your voice is
now laced over with a deeper or higher layered pitch as you speak. Doing
so, cast the Phantasmal Killer spell and ignore its concentration.
•Dark Dominance: At the cost of 6 ki points, you perform an unarmed
strike at advantage. Upon success, you focus your ki in a horrific fashion
under the effects of the Destructive Wave spell; forcing it into your
opponent and commanding it to rapidly strike internally.
