Introduction

An arrow flies past you as the goblins continue their

attack. A simple farmhand, armed with only a large
spading fork, you take a swing at one of them. The
goblin ducks, barely dodging, before impaling you with
their sword. As you fall to the ground, you turn your
head back and see the rest of the pack running towards
your home, your family. An unexplained anger wells up
within you in this moment, and with supernatural
strength, you bring yourself to your feet, and bring the
spade down once more.
“The Rage Within” is a new homebrew pack jam packed
with fresh, strength-based abilities ready to be added to
your dungeons and dragons game. This collection
includes two new feats “Overbearing Strength” and
“Staggering Strikes”, two new two new magic items
“Potion of Rage” and “Tunic of Great Strength”, and a
Barbarian Subclass “Path of the Rioter”. We hope you
enjoy this homebrew expansion for Dungeons and
Dragons 5e.

Feat

Powerlifter
Whether through technique, or brute force, you know
exactly how to force things into the position you want.
You gain the following benefits when you take this feat:

- Your strength score increases by 1, to a maximum of

20
- When you make a strength ability check or
strength-based skill check, you may add half your
proficiency bonus, on top of any other bonuses you
have to the check.

Magic Item

Potion of Rage
Potion, Rare
(We found out this stuff can be bottled! How useful!)
This potion allows one to channel their inner rage,
similarly to how a barbarian would. When you drink
this potion, you throw yourself into a rage, gaining
resistance to non-magical bludgeoning, piercing, and
slashing damage. This rage lasts for one minute, or
until you fall unconscious.
Feat

Staggerer
You know how to stagger creatures when you hit them
with your strikes. When you hit a creature with a
melee weapon attack, you may choose to attempt to
stagger them. The target must succeed on a Dexterity
Saving throw, or be knocked back 5 feet and fall prone.
The DC for this save is equal to your 8 + your strength
modifier + your proficiency bonus.

Magic Item

Weighted Tunic of Power

Wondrous Item, Rare (Requires Attunement)
This magical tunic allows you to push yourself beyond
your limits. While wearing this tunic, your strength
score is 24.

Curse: This tunic is cursed. Attuning to it curses you

until you are targeted by the remove curse spell or
similar magic. Removing the tunic fails to end the curse
on you. Every time you finish a long rest, roll a d20. On
a roll of 1-3, your strength score becomes 6 until you
complete your next long rest
