1. What is the culture of Filipino about religion?
Answer: The Philippines is a place where there is a lot of food, light, love, and laughter. The
culture of the Philippines is mostly a synthesis of Filipino and Spanish Catholic traditions, with a
small amount of influence from America and some regions of Asia. They have an excellent sense
of style and aesthetics, and their festivals are incredible. You will gain a solid understanding of
Filipino culture through this article. swiftly and effectively! Filipinos value their families dearly.
Their everyday routine is centered on their immediate and extended families. All of the
generations—including the third and fourth—include parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts,
cousins, and very close acquaintances. For important communal occasions like marriages,
circumcisions (for Muslim Filipinos), baptisms (for Catholic Filipinos), etc., the entire extended
family congregates. In Catholic cultures, godparents play a significant role in a child's
development. The families join together to celebrate holidays and festivals, placing a strong
emphasis on spending more time with one another.

Answer: With 90% of the people practicing Christianity, it is the most common religion in the
Philippines. The majority of people identify as Catholic, with Protestant Christians, including the
well-known Iglesia ni Cristo, independent Christian churches, and native Catholic churches like
the Aglipayan Church coming in second and third, respectively.

3. What are some examples of popular culture in the Philippines?


Answer: Filipino traditions and practices that are still widely observed today include the
Bayanihan culture. Some other examples are to sail a kite, Radio exercises, removing shoes
before entering a home and combative arts.

Answer: Many participants felt that miraculous cures were feasible and that religion and prayer
played a significant role in Filipino health practices. For them, prayer was a form of healing, and
they believed that when they prayed to God for healing, He would provide it through healing
processes or procedures similar to those used in medicine.

6. How does religion affect Filipino culture and society?


Answer: The majority of Filipinos place a strong emphasis on religion in their daily lives. It
serves as a host for experiences, rituals, rites, and adjurations that offer continuity in life,
community cohesion, and a moral reason for existing rather than as a foundational abstract belief
system.

value on food: by going back in time. By doing this, we will all learn about the culture and
recognize its valuable place in our lives. Like in any other nation, Filipinos do not eat in a
random or haphazard manner. In the Philippines, sports play a significant role in the culture of
the nation. In the Philippines, basketball, boxing, tennis, football, billiards, and volleyball are the
top six sports. Ice skating has recently gained popularity in the Philippines, a tropical country.

9. Religion Filipino values


Answer: Respect for the elderly
Filipinos have high regard for their elderly, including their parents. Even young adults still
practice taking their elders’ hands and saying “mano po” when they arrive at their homes.
Industrious attitude
Another one of the great characteristics of Filipinos is their being resourceful and industrious.
They are determined to finish their set goals despite difficult circumstances and limited
resources.
Generosity
Filipinos are naturally helpful and generous people. They give as much as they can and extend
help to family members — and even strangers — when needed. This is seen through the
abundance of charity drives and foundations in the country, especially when calamities arise.

10.Teaching Philippines Indigenous culture


Answer: By giving teachers the tools they need to incorporate IP knowledge and culture into
their lessons, we can assure that they will not only advocate the preservation of IP knowledge but
also foster an understanding of their students' own indigenous Filipino culture and inspire them
to value diversity. This manual is divided into nine modules, starting with the history of the
Philippine Islands' population and moving through each area of their social life before
concluding with a look into the native Filipino's psychology. Each module uses a transformative
outcomes-based pedagogical framework and includes suggested print and digital teaching
resources as well as guide questions for students' prior knowledge, engaging learning activities,
and procedures for processing what students learn.
