et de Secours (fire and rescue service).
 These organizations are responsible for maintaining law and order, crime
prevention, and responding to emergencies.

Cultural Services
 The French government promotes culture through its many cultural
institutions (institutions culturelles) such as national museums, libraries, and
cultural centres.
 These settings hold cultural events, exhibitions, workshops, and performances
for the public.
