Research design:

A research design is purely and simply the framework or plan for a study the guides
the collection and analysis of the data,

This research study was done with a simple random sampling.

Data Collection Method:

There are mainly two types of data collection methods they are:

1] Primary data collection method

2] Secondary data collection method

Primary data:

The data, which was obtained from the original source by researchers, is called as
primary data. So the primary data for study was new data that are gathered directly
from the subject or through on-site research for a specific purpose. Primary data
has not been published yet and is more reliable authentic and objective. 100
customers within Gulbarga have been taken into consideration for the study.

Secondary data:

The data which has been already been collected and assembled by some organization
to meet their needs. Secondary data is the data that has already been collected
through primary sources and made readily available for researchers to use. The
secondary data which has been collected from different sources are as follows.

•Annual report of the company

• Company's journal and files:

•Concerned text book.

•Internet

The data required for the survey was primary in nature. The situation demanded
total collection of new data so as to arrive at genuine conclusion and thereby
suggest a practical solution. The data for the survey were collected from the
respective customers of Nippon paints

Sample size:

The sample size selected for the study was 100 respondents.

Data collection:

The research uses this method of data collection where there is a set of questions
to be asked to he respondents in a limited span of time. Simultaneously the
researcher himself answers/responds out the questionnaire

Hence for the study, this method of data collection suits as there are set of
questions to which answers can easily is given to get the desired results of the
research

Data analysis:
Collection of facts and figures which can be processed to information, a collection
of verity of information organized with a specific structure usually data is
stored. Something in detail to explain it or to find out its structure or
composition

Statistical tool used for analysis:

• Single way table

• Graph
