Disposable Chain Cassette

The assembly of linked-chains designed for one-time-use, no need
of spares replacement until the unit is completely destroyed.
In case that some pin on the unit breaks and unbalances the drum
rotation, simply remove the pin opposite to the broken one to
rebalance. (e.g.: Pin 1 broken, then remove Pin 7)

Replace Chain Cassette(s) From A Chain Drum

(1) Loose the 2 Nuts (KP2000E15) and Washer (KP2000E14) from the Drum Shaft (KP2000E18).
(2) The 4 Disposable Chain Cassettes (KP2000E17) can be taken off now one by one from the Drum
Shaft (KP2000E18) .
(3) Carry out the necessary repairing or replacement to the old piece(s), then securely reassemble all
parts in the opposite sequence of above steps.
Make sure all chain cassettes' Rivets are facing to the same direction and that the Cleft sections
line up with each other accordingly, while no chain is caught between cassettes.

Remove Chain Drum From Machine

a. Lay down machine so that Chain Drum is free to rotate, then remove the Belt Cover (KP2000E28).
b. Use a screw driver and rotate the Chain Drum by hand to remove both belts (KP2000E26).
c. Put machine on a support that stops the Chain Drum rotating, then loosen both
Pulley Bolts (KP2000E22) in the bush and screw one Pulley Bolt (KP2000E22)
into the Third Hole (see illustration photo right) to remove the Pulley from Drum
Shaft (KP2000E18).
d. Remove 4 bolts (KP2000E18) and take out the "Key" (KP2000E24).
e. Remove 3 Bolts (KP2000E06) from the other side of the chassis and loosen 2 Shaft Fixing Screws
(KP2000E16.1) with an Allen tool.
f. Now, the Chain Drum can be taken out from the bottom of the Chassis.

Operations & Maintenance

- Check that all components are attached properly and in a proper / safe working order. (check that
there are no loose wires, guards or parts on the machine).
- Ensure that you have the correct cable and plugs to correspond with the voltage of the machine and
the power source you are using. (Suitable Earth Breaker Device is recommended if necessary).
- Locate the section to be cleaned / de-scaled and determine if the area needs to be cleaned.
Excessive grease, dirt and other hazardous material should be cleaned from the surface area
before operation the machine.
- Plug the vacuum hose from a dust collecting facility, if available, directly to the machine's Vacuum
Port Outlet (KP2000E09).
- Connect your machine to its power source. Make sure the cable is properly connected and safely
located for your operation.
- ALWAYS keep both hands on handles when operating. ALWAYS lift up machine (push down
the handles) in order for the drum assembly to rotate freely when starting the machine.
- Start and Stop the machine and check that rotation is correct according to marking on machine.
- Scaling can start. For the best results from your machine, you should run the machine forward and
backward over the area until appropriate result is achieved.
- Do not run the machine over sharp edges, but along them. Your machine will last longer if operated
with care.
- Maintain your company's fire and safety procedures while operating this machine.
- ALWAYS stop the machine and disconnect it from its power source before carrying out any
