- They are in a busy loction with lots of people passing by most likely hungry so they could
gain a lot of attention
- The shop looks modern and welcoming so people would want to go there

WEAKNESSES

- When trying to visit the webisite it hasn’t been created yet but there is still a link for it.
This could discourage people from going if the cannot find out what the sell or the
location of the café.
- They have some negative reviews and one example is from sophie arkemi who said

“Over price and no customer service skills.” And gary douglas said “the food was

disgusting”

OPPOURTUNITIES

- They could finish their website to attract more customers

- They could have more of an online presence as now social media is a good way to

advertise or present your business

THREATS

- They have received many negative reviews which mainly discuss the overpriced food

and bad customer service. If they continue to dissatisfy their customers they could lose

customers.

- Has a USP (unique selling point) that you can eat food and drink a coffee, tea or
preferred beverage whilst having unique experience of decorating a chosen piece of
pottery.
- They have an easily accessible website which presents all the information you need and
shows what you can decorate and also shows prices and the location
- It is in a location with lots of people around as it is in a central area of tilehurst so lots of
potential customers can pass by and could be interested in going to the café.

Weaknesses
- They don’t have an easily accessable menu on their website so you cannot see if you are
interested in the food they serve as they are very focused on their usp that they forget
to show what they actually serve
- They are at risk of copy right as they are using a name which comes froma Disney movie

Opportunities

- They have a unique idea and could use this idea to make other variations of the idea of
including pottery with a fun bonding experience.
- They could advertise to a higher age range as it is mainly focused on a younger
demographic but making it seem more welcoming to more age ranges could earn them
more money

THREATS

- There are many other cafes in the area so people might not want to go to a café full of
children they might want to go to somewhere with an older demographic.
- They have very high prices for their pottery so people may rather buy their own pottery
for far cheaper

Market segments:

Age is the main one advertising to younger children who enjoy arts and crafts

Family would be more inclined to go to a café that entertains the children whilst the parents can
enjoy a drink and food

To appeal to a younger demographic is achieved by having the name which is from a Disney movie
which typically watched by children.

They could appeal to a new market segment such as older people by having an area away from all of
the young children where they can relax.
