Xemo W 536

Description

Compact controller for wall mounting integration into a switch-cabinet. Numerous interfaces for
integration into superordinate control systems and for connection to sensors and activators. Be-
cause of its PLC functionality, the Xemo W often makes a second unit controller unnecessary.
Xemo W is particularly appropriate for industrial automation tasks that require accurate trajecto-
ries (bonding, milling, lasing, etc.). Thanks to its native programming language “MotionBasic,” its
can be operated either as an autonomous control system or with the included Windows DLL via
an attached PC. Further: processing of CAD-generated contour data directly per ISO code1. HPGL
implementation1 supports the operation of machine plotters for cutting, printing and drafting.
Highly developed safety concept including safety circuit. Corresponding integration into industrial
automation units is assured.

Technology package
Point-to-point Basic equipment
CNC trajectory controller Technology option C1, trajectory movements with 3D interpolation (linear and circular interpolation) possible
Synchronized axes Technology option M1; requires encoder input1; implementation of master/slave operation (electronic cam disk,
flying shears, electronic gears, synchronization of altering trajectory velocities, etc.)
ISO code Received1 from G or M codes via RS232C or USB interface in accordance with CNC norm DIN-ISO 66025. Many
G and M codes can be provided with expanded functionalities through MotionBasic programming. Requires the
technology package “CNC trajectory controller.”
Velocity proportioned outputs Signals dependent upon the velocity. Especially applicable for laser and bonding/dosing applications. Requires
analog inputs and outputs.
