PROBLEM STATEMENT-1

• A pre-experimental study on the effectiveness of structured teaching

programme on knowledge regarding umbilical cord blood banking among
Nursing personnel working at selected hospital, Dharmanagar, North
Tripura.

OBJECTIVE

1. To assess the pre-test knowledge regarding umbilical cord blood banking

among nursing personnel

2. To assess the post-test knowledge regarding umbilical cord blood banking

among Nursing personnel.

3. To evaluate the effectiveness of Structured teaching programme on

knowledge regarding Umbilical cord blood banking among Nursing
personnel.

4. To find out the association between pre-test knowledge regarding

umbilical cord blood banking among Nursing personnel and their selected
demographic variables.

• A quasi-experimental study on the effectiveness of planned teaching

programme on knowledge regarding HIV/AIDS among reproductive age
women residing at Damcherra, Panisagar, North Tripura.

OBJECTIVE

1. To assess the pre-test knowledge regarding HIV/AIDS among

reproductive age women in experimental and control groups.

2. To assess the post-test knowledge regarding HIV/AIDS among

reproductive age women in experimental and control groups.

3. To evaluate the effectiveness of planned teaching programme on

knowledge regarding HIV/AIDS among reproductive age women in
experimental group.

4. To find out the association between pre-test knowledge regarding

HIV/AIDS among reproductive age women of experimental and control
groups and their selected demographic variables.

prevention among peri-menopausal women residing in selected area of
Dharmanagar, North Tripura.

OBJECTIVE:-

1. To assess the pre-test knowledge regarding menopausal osteoporosis and

its prevention among peri menopausal women in experimental and
control groups.
2. To assess the post-test knowledge regarding menopausal osteoporosis and
its prevention among peri menopausal women in experimental and
control groups.

3. To evaluate the effectiveness of planned teaching programme on

knowledge regarding menopausal osteoporosis and its prevention among
peri menopausal women in experimental group.

4. To find out the association between pre-test knowledge regarding

menopausal osteoporosis and its prevention among peri menopausal
women of experimental and control groups and their selected
demographic variables.

• A descriptive study on knowledge and attitude towards non-scalpel

vasectomy among males who are married residing at rural area of
Dharmanagar, North Tripura.

OBJECTIVE

1. To assess the knowledge regarding non-scalpel vasectomy among males

who are married.

2. To assess the attitude towards non-scalpel vasectomy among males who

are married.

3. To find out the association between knowledge regarding non-scalpel

Vasectomy among males who are married and their selected demographic
variables.

4. To find out the association between attitude towards non-scalpel

 PROBLEM STATEMENT-5

• A descriptive study to identify factors influencing choice of place of

delivery among minority women residing in selected areas of
Dharmanagar, North Tripura with a view to develop structured teaching
programme regarding importance of institutional delivery.

OBJECTIVE

1)To identify the factors influencing choice of place of delivery among

minority women.

2) To develop and disseminate structured teaching programme regarding

importance of institutional delivery.

3) To find out the association between factors influencing choice of place

of delivery among minority women and their selected demographic
variables.
