1. Who invented computer for the first time?
Answer: Charles Babbage
2. What is the function of computer?
Answer: One of the mine functions of a computer is data processing. They can
perform complex mathematical operations, data manipulation, storage, and retrieval
of information quickly and efficiently.
3. What is Mini Computer? Give the example!
Answer: Mini computers are a class of multi-user computers which in the computing
spectrum are in a middle position below the class of miniframe computers and single-
uesr computer systems such as personal computers. Example HP Elite slice,
Raspberry, Intel NUC, Lenovo Think Centre M710, Asus Vivo Mini, Apple Mac
Mini.
4. What is Mainframe Computer? Give the example!
Answer: A mainframe computer is a large computer used to process large data and
aplications. Example IBM System (ESA) 390, Honeywell-Bull DPS 7, IBM System
360.
5. How does computer work?
Answer: - Input, is the stage of entering digital data into a computer before it is
processed.
- Processing, after the data is entered, the next stage is processing. The
data that has been entered will be processed through the CPU processing
device on the computer.
- Output, after the data processed and calculated by the processing
device, the next process is to produce a specific action or output. In this
process or stage, the results of data processing will be transmitted into a
certain action.
