“LIMINAL”

FADE IN:
EXT. FOREST – DAY
Nilan and Keifer are looking through some trees at a giant mysterious structure resembling a
pyramid.
CUT TO:
EXT. IN FRONT OF THE PYRAMID – DAY
Nilan and Keifer are now standing in front of the mysterious pyramid structure. There is a
carving on the wall that looks to be a hand with six fingers. Nilan hesitantly reaches out his
hand towards it.
NILAN’S POV
Nilan’s palm makes contact with the hand carving. A sound of something heavy sliding plays.
CUT TO:
INT. PYRAMID – DAY
Nilan and Keifer are already some distance inside of the structure, which is pitch black and lit
only by the sunlight that is coming through the entrance. The door starts to close, and when
Nilan Keifer hears the sound, they quickly turn around, but it was too late.
They could only stare helplessly as the entrance closes and the darkness swallows them.
The door closes with a thud, plunging them into blackness.
With a click, Nilan switches on a flashlight.
He swings it around.
NILAN
Keifer?
However, Keifer is nowhere to be seen.
CUT TO:
INT. PYRAMID – STAIRCASE – DAY
Nilan is looking up a staircase.
NILAN (V.O.)
What is this place?
CUT TO:
INT. PYRAMID – SUNLIT ROOM – DAY
Nilan is standing in a room inside of the mysterious structure. This room has a hole high
above on the wall that is letting sunlight through, illuminating Nilan and the room.
CUT TO:
INT. PYRAMID – CLAUSTROPHOBIC SPACE - UNKOWN
Nilan is squeezing through a tight space between two walls.
CUT TO:
INT. MYSTERIOUS STRUCTURE – A DARK PLACE - UNKOWN
Nilan is holding the flashlight in his hand, staring at something in front of him. The
environment is pitch black, dimly lit only by the glow of the flashlight.
NILAN’S POV
The torchlight is illuminating thousands upon thousands of skulls on a wall.
FLOOR
Nilan is now lying on the ground, bleeding from the forehead, his blood pooling on the floor.
NILAN’S POV
The dropped flashlight is illuminating the lower body of someone standing before him.
NILAN (V.O.)
Keifer?
