These are examples of ‘problem solving’ and can be identified in your production
diary/evaluation

Possible Issue Actions to be Undertaken


Bad weather during filming Reschedule filming to a later date. If not
possible, move filming indoors entirely,
using a possible set or venue
Locations unavailable Consider other potential locations which are
relevant
Actors become ill/unavailable Consider back up actors
Equipment is unavailable for time of filming Reschedule shooting plan to accommodate
equipment availability
Props are unavailable Look at using back up props or script
rewrite

Use the table below to identify any possible issues which might occur or happen to occur
during your production

Bus cancelled or delayed Ensure preparation for earlier buses or
different locations
No money to buy food or transport Think ahead of time and check list before
leaving to make sure I have everything
Didn’t make it to site in time Ensure I’m prepared for next time and get
timings correct
Bad weather when filming Reschedule to the next day
Location is unavailable Find other locations and document them
Equipment is unavailable Use phone and ensure equipment is
rescheduled for next use
