These are examples of ‘problem solving’ and can be identified in your production
diary/evaluation

Possible Issue Actions to be Undertaken


Bad weather during filming Reschedule filming to a later date. If not
possible, move filming indoors entirely,
using a possible set or venue
Locations unavailable Consider other potential locations which are
relevant
Actors become ill/unavailable Consider back up actors
Equipment is unavailable for time of filming Reschedule shooting plan to accommodate
equipment availability
Props are unavailable Look at using back up props or script
rewrite

during your production

Bad weather Make sure to check the weather before
going out to film.
Car breaks down Make sure to film at locations that have
many bus stops of transport avaliable.
Any actors have to cancel Always have back up people to step I if
someone gets sick.
Locations are too busy Make sure to go to these locations at more
appropriate time such as early morning or
evenings.
Camera stops working Make sure to have a back up camera or
your phone if something happens.
