From Theory to Practice (250-300 words)

Nurses must be aware in order to confidently provide a particular nursing care,

and we can only be aware with the aid of a guide. Our systems are firmly entrenched in
various theorists' theories. We occasionally need to adopt the ideals and morals that their
dedication to service as nurses shaped. One nursing theory that is applicable to the
Familiarization of OR Instruments during Caesarean section delivery is the "Social
Learning Theory" by Albert Bandura. This theory emphasizes the importance of
modeling and observation in the learning process. Nurses can use this theory to design
educational programs that include hands-on practice with the operating room
instruments, as well as opportunities to observe experienced nurses using them.

Another theory is the "Neuman Systems Model" by Betty Neuman, which relates
to the assessment of eclamptic mothers using deep tendon reflex. This theory emphasizes
the holistic approach to patient care and recognizes the interconnectedness of the patient's
physiological, psychological, and social systems. Nurses can use this theory to guide
their assessment of eclamptic mothers, considering factors such as the patient's level of
stress and anxiety, as well as their physiological symptoms.

Lastly, the "Roy Adaptation Model" by Sister Callista Roy guide my performance
for the oropharyngeal suctioning and orogastric tube feeding. This theory emphasizes the
importance of patient adaptation to their environment and recognizes that patients have
the ability to adapt to stressors with the right support and resources. Nurses can use this
theory to guide their approach to oropharyngeal suctioning and orogastric tube feeding,
considering factors such as the patient's level of discomfort and their ability to adapt to
the procedure.

V. Learning Strategies (100-150 words)

(Describe how the strategies/study habits that you have undertaken)

Two years and we are gradually coming back to conducting face to face classes, however, in
this time, it is only limited due to safety precautions that the school had to implement for every
student’s safety. Although we shout our plead to return to this set-up it is still quite unrealistic that
we are back causing the perplexing emotions of meeting new people. Moreover, never once did I
think that it’ll be more difficult to manage our time now that we have online classes and face to
face classes as well. It’s like returning to phase one of adjusting.
Nonetheless, we are Nurses in the process, so adapting to this kind of abrupt changes is a skill
that we all must develop. So, since the lectures are separated with laboratory week, it had been
much handy. During lecture week, we got a chance to study the lectures and do the activities
within that week, and if it is not our schedule yet for the laboratory, some hanging school works
can still be accomplished leaving no backlogs. Likewise, as our turn for the laboratory or the face
to face classes, we are also performing one return demonstration and the other as video
presentation, which is favorable for us. Though it is hard to memorize the procedure and rationale
within just hours plus the peer pressure, thankfully, it is also something that we had to deal with.
Some of us may not be aware of this, but the set up and schedules that the school had provided
really helps us to adjust with the setting, giving us much time for other school works.
