In you own experience, which of the 3 laws, religion, culture, do you think has been most influential,

in terms of its directing yo to act in certain ways rather than other?

Out of the three I choose culture it is the most influential to me and it has largest impact on me. A
collection of people's common ideas, values, customs, and behaviors make up their culture, which
influences how members of that culture view the world and relate as well as understanding and
respect to one another. One's behaviors and judgments are frequently greatly influenced by cultural
norms and expectations, sometimes even more so than by laws or personal convictions.

Identify a list of obligations we are expected to fulfill, prohibitions we are required to respect, and
ideals we encourage to meet.

Obligations we are expected to fulfill

In general, an obligation is a course of action that we are obliged to follow, whether it

be legal or moral. Each of us has the obligation to play meaningful role to ourselves,

to others and in the community. However, these obligations differ based on the roles

we are required to perform.

Obligations to Family

- Support and respect every one of the family including our parents,

siblings, and extended family

Obligations to Nation

- Obey and respect the rule of law

- Care for and restore the nation’s natural resources

- Vote for the right leaders

- Pay taxes

Obligations to others

- Tolerance and respect people

- Accept differences and diversity

b. Prohibitions we are required to respect

Prohibitions in law refer to the act or practice of prohibiting something, which may be

liable to punishment if you breach one of those. And whoever is issuing the

prohibition, our choice is to respect it or risk the prohibition’s consequences.

Respect Human Rights

Respect Privacy
Respect Beliefs

Respect Labor rights

Respect Property

c. Ideals we are encouraged to meet

An ideal is a principle or value that we actively pursue as a goal. And all of us have

certain ideals, toward which we should strive for and achieve in order to reach our

full potential as human beings.

Trust

Fairness

Respect

Happiness

Charity

Discuss whether these are ethical in nature or not.

Ethics are based on moral principles and societal norms, aiming to identify what is morally good or
wrong and assist individuals in making decisions in line with these values. Examples of moral tasks
include taxes and family assistance, which improve individual wellbeing and society's functioning.
Laws against discrimination, theft, and murder are grounded in moral principles protecting others'
rights. Moral principles like honesty, compassion, and integrity promote positive connections.

Imagine that you are legislator. What are the rules or laws that currently prohibit certain acts or
practices would you want to amend or repeal?

I would like to amend the no

colored hair, no tattoos, and
piercings on students because
I
believe that it is an extension
of who we are. It is us, the
students making statements,
and
expressing our personalities
through those things. Mostly
schools in the Philippines are
just
banning it because it does not
look good on the student or to
the image of the school and
even
because of stereotypes. Having
tattoos means being an ex-
convict or a criminal or a scary
person,
and so much more while having
multiple piercings means you
are uneducated, unprofessional,
or
someone who enjoys pain
because why would you even
want to pierce any part of
your body
multiple times. Why cannot
people just entertain the fact
that we do something because
we like it,
we like how we look with it, we
feel more confident with those
body arts

Also, are there certain acts or practices currently permitted by the law that you would want to
prohibit? Think of this on the level of your school, your city, and the nation.
