Introduction ■ Destroy action from an upper floor area (p. 23) - Erratum (design)

Developing this game, by Carlos Gomez Quintana, over a period of 3 years

was a lot of fun, but it was also a lot of brain-teasing! With the help of
the whole team and some brave playtesters, we tried from the start to
ensure that this FAQ would not be necessary. But operator after operator,
micro-balancing after meta-adjustment, the richness of the inter-ope-
rator interactions brought us face to face with our unrealistic expecta-
tions: a FAQ would be necessary! Moreover, it allows us to point out a few
erratum. We would have loved to avoid them, but the task of releasing

a close link with the entire gaming community! This community is vibrant
and strong, and it’s exciting to see so many of you enjoying the game
(especially now that it’s arriving at your doorsteps)! We truly look forward
to continuing to work on this FAQ with you, the community, in making this
game the best it can possibly be.

In addition, an attacker‘s Operator in an upper floor area also has line of
sight to all blue entryway spaces while activating.

This restriction also applies to revealing Hidden Operator tokens. There-

fore when a Hidden Operator token enters an entryway space that is not
being overwatched by an attacker Operator (either from the main floor or
from the upper floor area), they are not revealed.

This restriction doesn’t apply to entryway spaces containing an

Overwatch token: an Operator overwatching an entryway space from the
upper floor area may always perform a Riposte on this space during the
opposing player’s activation phase.’

A: Attackers win immediately when the attacker Operator escorting the hos-
tage reaches any perimeter space. A central dot on a perimeter space doesn’t appear where intended (on the
outlined space above, located in the top-right corner of the map).
Q: When using the Forward Planning module on p. 30, can you place one of
the Fortified Wall tokens this module gives you on a holed wall?
A: Yes. Operators - Errata
■ Smoke’s Gas Grenades - Erratum (design)
Q: Since holed walls don’t block line of sight, which actions requiring line of
sight can an Operator perform through them?
A: The Rulebook states on page 8 that ‘Walls of all types are impassable to
Operator movements’. Therefore Operators may perform any action through a
holed wall that requires line of sight except moving.

Q: If an Operator in a space covered by a Fire or Gas Overlay performs a Reac-

tion or a Riposte, do they sustain damage from the overlay?
A: Yes.

straight line linking the central dots in two spaces’, therefore the Operator
cannot target their own space.
