My Literature Review has helped me engage in the learning outcome of
“Research Genre Production” by demonstrating the navigation of
constraints in this academic research genre. To start, I had to gather
sources that frame a visual rhetorical analysis of CDC handwashing
posters, and it’s an understatement to say that there was slim to no
academia on this subject. I was a true trailblazer in this specific genre.
2. How does this assignment or activity connect with other course
outcomes or build towards upcoming major assignments?
This assignment is heavily related to my final research paper. This
literature review is the backbone of my understanding of my sources,
which will give me an easy path to follow when it comes time to write my
paper.
