My research paper, “CDC Handwashing Posters: Are They Effective?”
delved into the outcome “Contributing Knowledge” in various ways.
Primarily, I conducted an independent analysis of CDC handwashing
posters, employing the unique framework of “Understanding Visual
Rhetoric” by Jenae Cohn. Subsequently, I integrated other academic
sources and consolidated my findings in the discussion section, where I
arrived at distinct conclusions for each poster.
2. What is something, whether it be a concept or a personal realization,
that you learned while engaging in this assignment? Or, if you didn't
learn anything, what did you find useful about this exercise?
Something incredibly useful I learned during this assignment was how to
write a research paper. In the future, I want to be a Doctor of Nurse
Practitioner, where I will have to conduct more research, so this
assignment taught me how to navigate that idea.
