the AMG business. AMG Client Operations plays a very important role in servicing our growing business across
Institutional and Wholesale clients. Striving towards achieving client centricity across all stages of a client life cycle.

The Opportunity: (Brief Overview of the Role)


This role will provide leading client service to both the Liquidity Funds sales team and their clients. The role will form
an integral part of the overall sales and service proposition of this distribution channel, to meet growth strategy
targets for net sales and increase market share. Primarily it will provide client service to assist in maximizing our
effectiveness in managing our client relationships, asset growth and service.

What you’ll do: (List out Key Responsibilities)

 The successful candidate will be responsible for the following –


 Coordination and ownership of new business prospecting, report generation and distribution, account
opening and update, handling ongoing sales and client servicing tasks for Liquidity Funds business of
HSBC Asset Management Group
 The role holder will play a key role in interacting with fund administrators, Liquidity sales team & Bank
relationship managers to meet KYC requirements, supporting the drafting of Money market application
forms, completing Static data for clients and updating CRM system with changes.
 Closely working with HSBCNet portal team by submitting work orders to Operations team and on boarding
clients to Liquidity portal and amendment to existing users.
 Incumbent will be required to ensure timely production and dissemination of reports like Daily Yields and
Daily Holding files to clients, Solvency, Capital income reporting, performance, attribution, or portfolio
changes on monthly/ad-hoc basis
 Responsible in completing annual due diligence questionnaire within deadline by coordination with various
teams like compliance, RFP, HR etc.
 The role holder will be responsible for account opening activities like maintaining new account data,
coordinating with other teams to obtain relevant data, updating CRM system and CAM with data
 The role holder will be responsible for adding clients to daily distribution lists, monthly factsheets and
disseminating marketing information to client on timely manner
 The role holder will be required to perform ad-hoc activities like maintaining Desk instruction manuals,
analyzing corporate client accounts and company reports to understand their investments

Qualifications - External
What you will need to succeed in the role: (Minimum Qualification and Skills Required)

 Qualification - Post Graduation / MBA / IT degree and/or qualification from a reputed institute
 Capital Markets Industry certifications preferred
 Overall experience of 5 years or above preferably in the Asset Management especially handling Liquidity
funds, Passive funds like Exchange Traded Funds [ETFs]
 Knowledge of financial markets, macro-economic environment, theory, tools and strategies.
 Experience in Sales and Client servicing activities such as on-boarding, Relationship Management, client
planning and reporting, account management and new business prospecting
 Expertise in CRM tools like MS Dynamics
 Analytical Skills - proven interpretation and utilization of management information
 Ability to be persuasive, pragmatic in approach
 Ability to distil complex and varied data into information, good process analysis and problem-solving skills

PUBLIC
 Excellent written, verbal & presentation (including advanced PowerPoint) communication skills
 Stakeholder management is a critical attribute, the ability to work as a team player is must.

 Knowledge of liquidity fund/mandate business


 Attention to detail and quality focused
 Analytical thinking and good with designing new workflows
 CFA/FRM certification is an addition
