J.P. Morgan in India provides a comprehensive range of Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial
Banking, Asset & Wealth Management and Corporate functions services and solutions to our clients,
executing some of the most important financial transactions and providing essential strategic advice to
our clients such as the government, large domestic and multi-national corporations, non-government
organizations and financial institutions and investors. India is a key market for JPMorgan Chase globally
and our employees in India are a critical part of how we do business globally and are integrated within our
businesses. Our Global Service Centers (GSCs) are strategically positioned in Mumbai, Bangalore and
Hyderabad to support the firm’s operations regionally and globally. The centers provide comprehensive
strategic support across technology and business operations processing to all lines of business and the
corporate functions.
J.P. Morgan’s Asset Management (“JPMAM”) business manages investments and creates a strategic
advantage for institutional and retail investors. It caters to the most sophisticated relationships in the
industry, including top pension plans, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds, endowments,
foundations, central banks and other institutional investors. J.P. Morgan Funds are offered through direct
and third-party distributors. It offers complete spectrum of investment strategies, including equity, multi-
asset, fixed income, currency, real estate, hedge funds, and private equity.
This open position supports JPMAM’s U.S Funds Client Services Organization. The position supports the
Retirement LinkSM product. Retirement Link provides bundled plan services to U.S. private sector defined
contribution retirement plans.
The primary responsibility of the Business Support Specialist (“BSS”) is to effect processes that enable
the timely delivery of sales and service materials and communications to new and existing Retirement
Link clients.
Team Description:
The BSS function is an integral part of JPMAM. The BSS will be expected to provide a fully integrated
center of relationship intelligence, connecting all touch points across the client lifecycle - to help drive
sales performance and deliver a purposeful client experience.
The India Business Support team works closely with client advisors, financial advisors, relationship
managers and global sales support teams to help facilitate the process. The role also requires
coordinating with various internal teams (Client Service, Marketing, Product, Finance, MIS/Business
Intelligence and Technology) to be able to provide a holistic coverage across the cycle.
Job Description:
We are looking for a candidate to join the U.S. Funds Client Services aligned team. He/she will provide
support for all facets of the sales and service process:
Support a group of J.P. Morgan external client advisors, internal client advisors and relationship
managers (‘field partners”) to help them meet their objective and goals in a compliant, timely
manner
Support new/existing client contracts including timely renewal of contracts and contract
amendments
Ensure monthly FINRA correspondence is received and submitted through internal approval
system
Facilitate production of plan and participant communications including pricing models for
prospective and existing clients
Coordinate appropriate reviews and completion of plan and participant communications
Submit completed RFPs through internal approval system
Help manage and maintain various databases, systems and applications to enable effective
transition of roles and responsibilities across the sales cycle
Standard Reporting and Ad hoc reporting responsibilities
The candidate will need to gain an understanding of the sales cycle to better align requirements
to the changing business scenarios
Assist field partners with CRM inquiries
Support special project requests
People management experience, ability to drive specific training and guiding team members
Stakeholder management - effective communication and regular status reporting to key business
stakeholders
Effective issue escalation management – identify, maintain and monitor key risks and issues
Execution of departmental controls, procedures / templates, checklists and oversight metrics
