Internship Experience
January 2024 – May 2024
 Completing my Student Teaching semester at Schuylkill Haven Elementary Center in Schuylkill Haven
Pennsylvania. Rolled over placement from Professional Semester which helped with hitting the ground
running and extending my teaching time. Taught all subjects every day and gained knowledge in
classroom management, effective lesson planning, working in a teaching team, working with students
with differentiated needs, effectively advocating for students, etc. Worked with multiple specialists to
make sure students got the remediations they would need to succeed in the classroom. Created engaging
lessons in a variety of subjects which included making meaning read alouds, writing prompts, and math
and ELA lessons. Also created a science unit on pushes and pulls which included a pretest, pushes and
pulls, different kinds of machines and what they do, force and motion, speed, and a posttest.

September 2023 – December 2023


 Completed my Professional Semester at Schuylkill Haven Elementary Center in Schuylkill Haven
Pennsylvania. Rolled over to Student Teaching semester in the same classroom. Professional Semester is
7 weeks of class and 7 weeks of full-time placement. Created multiple lessons that were completed
throughout the course of Professional Semester including math, science, ELA, social studies, and read
alouds. Learned how to build meaningful relationships with students and be proactive in the classroom.
Also learned how to work with other teachers to prep and plan for lessons and assignments.

February 2023 – April 2023


 Completed Pre-Lit block observations at Shiloh Hills Elementary in Sinking Springs Pennsylvania. Pre-
Lit block observations were completed the semester prior to Professional Semester and only on Fridays
from February to April. Learned how an effective classroom was run and how to manage students
throughout the day. Completed multiple assignments while at Shiloh Hills including anecdotal note
taking and observing multiple different locations.

September/October 2022 – December 2022


 Completed first observations at The Goddard School in Lower Macungie Pennsylvania. First
observation opportunity in person because of Covid. Completed a list of different types of anecdotal
observations and focused on one student to create a portfolio on. Created a portfolio on one student
which included age, things they enjoyed in the classroom, pieces of their art, and name samples.

Work Experience
 Cashier, Wegmans, Easton PA, August 2019 - Present
Assisted customers in their experience while in the store. Provide quick checkout while being friendly
and creating conversation. Included working in different departments of the store.
