2 Settings.
2.1 Personal Settings.
2.1.1 User can use the personal settings funnction to set their own background color.

2.1.2 Click on the user’s name at the top-right corner of the the page. System will navigate to the Personal
Settings.

2.1.3 Select the color that you want to be your background color.

3. Administrator Section.
3.1. From the main page of the Prototype Request, click on the Settings button to go to the
Administrator Section.

3.3. Set up the Departments.


3.3.1.Click on the Departments Management menu on the left side of the the page.

3.3.2.To create new departments, input the department’s name into the input box, check to the “Active”
check box and then click the “Create Department” button.

3.3.3.To edit the existing department, click on the “Edit =>” menu in the “Departments Management” grid,
and then edit the department (Change name, active or deactive) in the “Add/Edit Management”
section. Finally click on the “Update” button.

3.4. Setup Users-Department.


3.4.1.Any user who wants to access the Prototype Request function needs to be assigned to the department.
Otherwise, the Prototype Request will show a message as below.

3.4.2.To setup User_Department. Click on the “User => Department” menu at the left side bar (Under “Users
Management”).

3.4.2.1. To assign new user to the department. In the “Add/Edit User_Department” section, select
the department from the “Department dropdown list”, input the email of a person who will be
assigned into the “U_User” input box, and check the “Active” checkbox. Finally, click on the “Assign
User To Department” button.

3.4.2.2. To edit the existing “User-Department”. Click on the “Edit=>” menu in the “
User_Department Management” grid, the data of selected “User-Department” will be loaded into the
“Add/ Edit User_Department” section. Input the information as you want. Finally, click on the
“Update User” button.

3.5. Setup the Requestors.


3.5.1.Even if the user is assigned to the department, he/she still can not create the request in the Prototype
Request unless he/she is assigned to the “requestor role”.

3.5.2.To assign the Requestor role to user, click on the “Requestors” menu at the left side bar.

3.5.2.1. To assign the “Requestor role” to user. In the “Add/ Remove Requestor” section, input the
email of person who will be assigned the “Requestor Role” and then click the “Add New
Requestor” button.

3.5.2.2. To remove the “Requestor role” from the user. In the “Requestors Management grid”, click
on the “Edit=>” menu. Selected requestor will be loaded into the “Add/Remove Requestor”
section. Finally, click on the “Remove Requestor” button.

3.6. Setup the Approvers.

3.6.1.To setup the Default Approvers, click on the “Default Approvers” menu at the left side bar.

3.6.1.1. To create new “Default Approvers”. In the “Add/Edit Approver” section, select the
Department from the “Department” dropdown list, input the email of person who will be
approver into the “Approver” input box, check to the “Active” checkbox, finally click the “Add
New Approver” button.

3.6.1.2. To edit the existing default approver. Click on the “Edit=>” menu in the “Approvers
Management” grid, the data will be loaded into the “Add/Edit Approver” section. Edit the
information of selected default approver as you want (Change department approve for, active or
deactive ..) finally click the “Update Approver” button.

3.6.2.To setup the Extended Approvers, click the “Extended Approver” menu at the left side bar.

3.6.2.1. To create new “Extended Approvers”. In the “Add/ Remove Extended Approver” section,
input the email of person who you want to assign the approve role into the “Approver” input
box, then click the “Add” button.

3.6.2.2. To remove the existing Extended Approver. Click the “Edit=>” menu in the “Extended
Approver Management” grid, the data of selected approver will be loaded into the “Add/
Remove Extended Approver” section. Finally, click the “Remove” button.

4. Users section.
4.1. All Roles.

4.1.1. Dashboard page.

4.1.1.1. The dashboard page contains two sections. The Search section and the List of Request
sections.

4.1.1.2. The search section contains 6 parameters to search for existing Prototype Requests. 6
parameters includes:

- Request Type.

- Request ID.

- Request of Department.

- Request Status.

- From Date.

- To Date.

 In case there is not any parameter is passed. The Prototype Request will load all the requests that
are created within one month from the current date.

4.1.1.3. The List of Request sections contains the resutls search and the “New Request” button.

4.2. Requestor.

4.2.1. Create new request page (Requestor).


4.2.1.1. In the dashboard page. Click on “+New Request” button.

4.2.1.2. Create the header of Prototype Request.

- Select the Request Type from the “Request Type dropdown list” (Mandatory).

- Input the Customer into the “Customer” input box (Mandatory).

- Input the Customer’s PO (Optional).

- The other fields such as “Request ID”, “Requestor”, “Request Status” and “Request Date”
will be generated automatically after creating the header successfully.

- Click on the “Save” button.

4.2.1.3. Create the lines of Prototype Request.

- Input all mandatory fields and other optional fields if needed.

- Click the “+ New Line" button.

- The Prototype Request’s line will be added into the the grid below.

4.2.1.4. Edit created line.

- Click on the edit icon of the line that you want to edit.

- The data of selected line will be loaded into all controls. Input/ Edit the data as you want and
then click on the “Update Line”.

4.2.1.5. Submit the Prototype Request.

- After creating the Prototype Request including the header and lines, the requestor needs to
submit the request.

- The approver can only decide whether to approve or reject the request when its status is
“Submitted”.

- To submit the request, click on the “Submit” button in the menu.

- When the request is submitted successfully, its status will be changed to “Submitted” and an
email will be sent to the approver simultaneously.

4.2.2. Edit the request (Requestor).


4.2.2.1. The request can be edited only when its status is “Draft”. Otherwise, the system will show the
messagebox as image below.

then click on the “Update Line”.

4.2.3. Request Cancel (Requestor).


4.2.3.1. From the dashboard page, click on the “View details” icon to navigate to the detail page.

4.2.3.2. From the details page, click on the “CANCEL/ REVISE” button to navigate to the
“CancelOrRevise” page.

4.2.3.3. In the details page, Select the lines that you want to request cancel (multiple select).

4.2.4.1. From the dashboard page, click on the “View details” icon to navigate to the detail page.

“CancelOrRevise” page.

4.2.4.3. In the grid of lines, click on the cell you want to revise, for example the “Qty(Order)”.

4.3. Approver.

4.3.1. Approve/ Reject the request (Approver).


4.3.1.1. The approver can access the page to approve/ reject the request by one of two ways.

- By clicking on the “More details” button in from the email.

- By clicking on the “View details" icon on the dashboard page.

4.3.1.2. To approve, click on the “Approve” button on the menu.

- After the request is approved successfully, its status will be changed to “Approved” and an
email will be sent to the requestor and CS teams simultaneously.

4.3.1.3. To reject, click on the “Reject” button on the menu and then input the reason for rejecting.
Finally, click on the “Reject" button again.

- After the request is rejected, Its status will be changed to “Rejected” and an email will be
sent to the requestor.

4.3.2. Allow/ Deny Cancel (Approver).


4.3.2.1. The approver can access to the CancelOrRevise page by one of two way.

- Way 1: Click on the “More details" button in the email.

- Way 2: In the dashboard page. Click on the “View details” icon to navigate to the Details
page. From the details page, click on the “CANCEL/ REVISE” button to navigate to the
“CancelOrRevise” page.

4.3.2.2. To Allow the Cancel. Select the line(s) you want to allow (Normally they are already selected
automatically) and then click on the “ALLOW CANCEL” button.

4.5.1. The member of Prototype Teams will input the Confirmed Ready Date and
Prototype Note only.

4.5.2. From the dashboard page, click on the “View details” icon to navigate to the detail
page.

4.5.4. Click on the “Edit” icon of the line that you want to input data.
