make of approved colour and shade. The cost includes fixing sink
on top of slab or under the slab, making cut holes & providing PVC
sleeves in the openings as necessary to run different services
including electrical/plumbing/HVAC/Fire integrating all services and
polish the edges complete at all leads and lifts as per the direction
of the Engineer-in-charge.

(12) FLOORING:

(Type and pattern of all flooring shall be executed as per

Architectural drawing numbers 49,50,51&52)

(i) Flamed Finish Granite Flooring: In the following Floors, Flamed

Finish Granite Flooring shall be provided as per Architectural
drawings colour coding with Flamed Finish Granite Stone Flooring in
required design and patterns, in linear as well as curvilinear
portions of the building all complete with gangsaw cut 18 mm thick
Granite stone slab over 20 mm (average) thick base of cement
mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) laid and jointed with cement
slurry and pointing with white cement slurry admixed with pigment
of matching shade including nosing, rubbing, curing and polishing
etc. The Flamed finish granite stone slab colour and shades shall
be from any of the or combination of (i) Black shade (Jet Black, Black
galaxy, impala black, black pearl) (ii) white shade (River white,
Cera white, Kashmir) (iii) Gold (Imperial Gold, Ivory Gold, Ivory
Gold_TP, Kashmir Gold, Kashmir Gold_B, Madura Gold, Madura Gold
honey, Madura Gold Light) (iv) Brown shade (Icon brown, Ivory brown,

and jointed with epoxy grout of approved colour pigments, grey
cement slurry, including rubbing, chamfering, hacking and polishing
complete. The rate is inclusive of cement, sand, tools and tackles,
machineries, polishing, grouting, service cutting and protecting the with
8mm thick PU Floor Cover till end of Project. The flooring layout drawings
shall be prepared by the Contractor as per the sizes mentioned in the
layout drawings. Any changes required in sizes as per the drawings shall
be done without additional charges to the entire satisfaction of Engineer
in Charge.

(iii) Combination of Flamed Finish and Pre-Polished Granite Flooring: All

the Corridors (Non-Airconditioned and similar areas/locations) shall
be provided as per Architectural drawings colour coding with Combination
of Flamed Finish and Pre-Polished Granite Stone Flooring in required
design and patterns, in linear as well as curvilinear portions of the building
all complete with gangsaw cut 18 mm thick Granite stone slab over 20 mm
(average) thick base of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand)
laid and jointed with cement slurry and pointing with white cement slurry
admixed with pigment of matching shade including rubbing, curing and

and conforming to IS:15622, of approved brand & manufacturer, in all
colours and shade, laid on
20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand) jointing with
grey cement slurry @3.3 kg/sqm including grouting the joints with white
cement and matching pigments etc. The tiles must be cut with the zero-

(vi) Combination of Pre-Polished Granite Stone and Fully Body Glazed

brand & manufacturer, in all colours and shade, laid on 20 mm thick
cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand) jointing with grey cement

specified by the manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08%
and conforming to IS:15622, of approved brand & manufacturer, in all
colours and shade, laid on 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4
coarse sand) jointing with grey cement slurry @3.3 kg/sqm including
grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc. The tiles
must be cut with the zero-chipping diamond cutter only. Laying of tiles will

drawings colour coding with vinyl rolls of approved make and shade with

wear layer of 0.70mm thickness of standard sizes as per EN 649/relevant

code of manufacturers specification having 10 years replaceable
warranty over an under layer of CC flooring. The rate shall include full
Cuttings and Wastages, cost of all materials, Adhesives of approved
make, Welding of Joints, Raceways, etc. Material to be installed by
specialized applicators of the manufacturers by using Water based /
any other specified Adhesive only by the manufacturer.
Note: The under layer shall be done by laying 40mm thick Cement
Concrete flooring 1:2:4 (1 Cement : 2 Coarse Sand : 4 graded stone
aggregate) with a floating coat of need cement, including cement slurry.

(x) Rectified Polished Ceramic Tiles: The Flooring for Toilet Blocks in all
floors for the Hospital Building and Ancillary structures shall be done as per
Architectural drawings colour coding, with anti-skid Matt finished Ceramic
floor tiles of size 400 x 400 mm / 300 x 600 mm or more (thickness to be
specified by the manufacturer), of 1st quality conforming to IS: 10545 in
colours White, Ivory, Grey, Fume Red Brown, laid on 20mm thick cement
mortar 1:4 (1 Cement: 4 coarse sand) jointing with white cement slurry @
3.3kg/sqm including chipping, hacking, slurry, curing, grouting the joints with
white cement and matching pigments, etc. The tiles must be cut with zero
chipping diamond cutter only. The laying of tiles will be done with the notch
trowel plier, with a rubber mallet for placing the tiles gently and easily. The
cost includes making services cut out / openings for electrical, plumbing
pipes, etc., removing all loose material and disposal of all debris to the
designated place, all as per drawings and directions of the Engineer-in-
charge. No extra payment for any architectural Ornamental Design up to
10% of the cladding area.

(xi) High Performance Anti-SkidEpoxyFlooring:

The flooring for Parking areas, Driveways, Basement floor, internal
Ramps flooring and similar locations shall be done as per Architectural
drawings colour coding with High Performance Anti-Skid Epoxy Flooring of
overall 5mm thick over the well prepared surface. The flooring system
comprises of applying Epoxy modified cementitious underlayment screed
of 3mm thick followed application of Epoxy based Anti-skid coat of
Premium textured finish of approved make and brand of 2mm thick to
get a tough anti-skid surface and to withstand wear and tear. The primer

shall be applied over existing RCC/VDF concrete flooring surface. The

product shall comply with manufacturer’s specifications.

The above flooring shall be done over the vacuum dewatering flooring
(VDF) with M35 grade cement concrete with appropriate thickness as per
structural design and the technical specifications mentioned in the tender
document.

(xii) High performance Epoxy Flooring system with Highest Degree Skid
resistance: The flooring for Ramps, sloped portion of drive ways and
similar locations in the Hospital Building shall be done as per Architectural
drawings colour coding with High-Performance epoxy anti-skid flooring
system of 2mm thickness. The flooring system comprises of applying (1)
Application of solvent free epoxy primer at 200-300 gm/Sqm (depending
on surface condition) (2) Application of three component high build
solvent free epoxy base coat at minimum 300 Micron thickness (3)
Providing specialized anti slip grain No. 2 at minimum dosage of 1.25 Sqm
per kg (4) The final application shall be done with High built solvent free
epoxy top coat at dosage of 500 gm per Sqm. The product shall comply
with manufacturer’s specifications.

(xiii) Kota Stone Flooring and Skirting: The flooring and skirting for all
Ancillary Structures and Fire Escape Staircase (from basement to ground
floor) in the Hospital Building shall be provided with Kota Stone as per
Architectural drawings. The flooring shall be done with
25mm thick Kota stone slabs over 20 mm (average) thick base laid over
and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade
of the slab, including rubbing and polishing complete with base of cement
mortar 1 : 4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand). The Skirting shall be done with
Kota stone slabs 20 mm thick in risers of steps, skirting, dado and pillars
laid on 12 mm (average) thick cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse
sand) and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the
shade of the slabs, including rubbing and polishing complete. The steps of
Kota Stone shall have pre-finished nosing the length of the steps i.e.,
treads and risers shall be of single length not less than 1.20 m. The Kota
Stone flooring except treads of steps shall be Mirror polished to give
high gloss finish complete.

(ix)Synthetic Carpet Flooring:

The Modular Synthetic Carpet Flooring laying shall be done as per
Architectural drawings coding colours of approved make, brand, fabric,
colour, texture etc., in the following floors with, modular carpet tiles of
size 1.00x1.00 mt. having ART MEDIA-OP ART range of manufacturer,
made out of Nylon with antimicrobial and anti -soil treatment. The
Thickness of pile is 4.32 +/-(.5mm)mm and total thickness 9.4 mm +/-

(.5mm). The consumption of Yarn is 19 oz/ yd 2 i.e., 915 g/sqm. The rate
includes cost of material, labour, adhesive, bal tile filler, all wastages,
preparation of surface etc., in all leads & lifts complete as per
direction of Engineer- in- Charge. The Product should be installed as per
manufacturers specification. The P r o d u c t Should be CRI
Certified (Green Plus).

Note: The under layer shall be done by laying 40mm thick Cement
Concrete flooring 1:2:4 (1 Cement : 2 Coarse Sand : 4 graded stone
aggregate) with a floating coat of need cement, including cement slurry.

hardener consisting of mix 1:2 (1 cement hardener mix: 2 graded stone aggregate
6 mm nominal size) by volume, hardening compound mixed @ 2 liter per 50 kg
of cement or as per manufacturer's specifications. This includes cost of cement
slurry, but excluding the cost of nosing of steps etc. complete.

(xi) Tactile flooring

Tactile flooring of size 400x400mm of approved colour, shade and pattern as

per architectural detail drawing. Providing, laying & finishing to line, level &
pattern Tactile flooring of exterior grade of size approved colour, shade and
pattern (preferable with 3 mm-5mm spacer) of 400x400mm of approved
colour, shade and pattern as per Architectural drawing (minimum thickness 10
mm) , having water absorption less than 0.05 % and UV resistant conforming to
I.S. 10545, of approved make, in all colors & shade, laid on 20mm thick cement
mortar 1:4 (1 Cement: 4 coarse sand) jointing with white cement slurry
@3.3kg/sqm including chipping, hacking, slurry, curing, grouting the joints with
white cement and matching pigments, etc. The tiles must be cut with zero
chipping diamond cutter only. The laying of tiles will be done with the notch
trowel plier, with a rubber mallet for placing the tiles gently and easily.
Including making services cutout/openings for electrical, plumbing pipes, etc.
Removing all loose material and disposal of all debris to the designated place
