Rationale
According to Casil-Batang (2021), In the Philippines,
with its long history of being a victim of gender bias,
the existence of RA 9710 reflects the serious
campaign against any type of gender discrimination.
This study aims to investigate the rampant exclusion
of women from political and economic life.

Statement of the Problem
This study aims to determine the significant effect of gender
stereotypes on the dimensions of effective leadership behavior.

1.2. Education; and
1.3. Socialization?
2. What is the level of dimensions of effective leadership behavior?
2.1. Flexibility;

3. Does gender stereotypes have a significant effect on the dimensions

Rationale
The Magna Carta of Women as couched in RA 9710 states
that“discrimination against women refers to anygender-based
distinction,exclusion, or restriction… and a measure or practice
ofgeneral application isdiscrimination against womenif it failsto provide
for mechanisms to offset or address sex or gender-based
disadvantages or limitations of women.”
Women and men remain concentrated in different jobs and fields, a
trend known as occupational segregation, which is deeply rooted in
racist and societal biases and maintained by policy design. This study
will be conducted to break the barriers on women experiences in male-
dominated field.
