Abstract-
A semi-flexible pavement type known as Geopolymer grouted Asphlat Mixtures (GAM) is
simply an open-graded bituminous mix grouted with Geopolymer mortar, blend of properties
from both rigid and flexible pavements. The absence of performance studies that provide
knowledge may be the reason why GBM is not yet well-liked and extensively used in India.
As a result, this study has attempted to prepare the Geopolymer grout material and establish
the mix design consideration first. To ensure field performance, a number of experimental
trials were conducted and laboratory data are used to verify the results. The enhanced
resistance against moisture damage and oil spills, along with improvements in Marshall
Stability, compressive strength, tensile strength, and temperature susceptibility, highlight the
potential benefits of GAM in various environmental conditions.
