ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
Artificial intelligence is a field of study and the resulting innovations and developments that
have culminated in computers machines, and other artifacts having human-like intelligence
characterized by cognitive abilities, learning, adaptability, and decision-making capabilities.
The study ascertained that Al has extensively been adopted and used in education,
particularly by education institutions, in different forms. Al initially took the form of computer
and computer related technologies, transitioning to web-
based and online intelligent education systems, and ultimately with the use of embedded
computer systems, together with other technologies, the use of humanoid robots and web-
based chatbots to perform instructors’ duties and functions independently or with
instructors. Using these platforms, instructors have been able to perform different
administrative functions, such as reviewing and grading students assignments more
effectively and efficiently, and achieve higher quality in their teaching activities. On the other
hand, because the systems leverage machine learning and adaptability, curriculum and
content has been customized and personalized in line with students’ needs, which has
fostered uptake and retention, thereby improving learners experience and overall quality of
learning.
GRAMMARLY
Nowadays, the rapid growth of technologies brings out the educational learning application
or web. One example of educational technology is the automatic online grammar checker,
Grammarly. Grammarly is an online application that is used to scan documents for grammar
checkers and plagiarism checkers. It provides suggestions on all forms of corrective
vocabulary and sentence or rephrasing suggestions. Besides, Grammarly also includes the
correct word and provide several alternatives and identify possible misspellings of the word.
Researchers used the systematic literature review as the method of the research. This
systematic literature review aims to explore on how Grammarly as a medium for analyzing
grammar is used in the process of the analysis. The researchers are interested to review the

LANGUAGE LEARNING
Language learning involves many factors. Researchers study how people’s feelings,
thoughts, and motivation affect their ability to learn languages. They look at what makes
people interested in learning, both for personal reasons and because of outside influences.
Understanding these factors helps teachers find better ways to help students learn
languages. Learning a language is influenced by a variety of factors. Two of the most
important of which are the learner’s attitude and perception toward the target language.
These are the concepts which have been the focal points of sociolinguists as far as learner
behaviour is concerned. Therefore, this study was conducted in an attempt to provide an
account of the previous studies conducted on attitude and perception and their impacts on
learners’ learning abilities. Motivation, as a determining factor in learning, in relation to
language performance is going to be discussed as well. Additionally, different frameworks
for the classification of learners’ belief will be discussed and relevant conclusions will be
drawn.
BEED
BEED students are much aware of the program’s learning outcomes and program
performance indicators. However, it seems that instructors are using traditional teaching
strategies more often it must imply for the instructors to use modern technology. Because of
the findings and conclusions, the researcher recommends that a.) Although the instructors
frequently used different teaching strategies effectively, instructors can use a combination
of traditional and modern teaching strategies to address students’ varying learning styles
and academics as well as to make the learning environment dynamic and motivational for
students.
INTRODUCTION
Background of the study
In today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape, educational technologies have become
integral tools in both language learning. One such prominent example is Grammarly, an
online application designed to enhance grammar proficiency and textual integrity through
real-time feedback and suggestions. This article have studied Grammarly and found that
Grammarly is helpful for students, but there’s still room for improvement. The article also
talks about how other factors, like students’ attitudes and motivations, affect language
learning. It suggests ways to combine traditional teaching methods with modern technology
to create a better learning environment. Finally, it discusses how artificial intelligence is
being used in education to make tasks like grading and personalizing learning experiences
easier and more effective for students.
While Grammarly offers numerous benefits in improving grammar proficiency and textual
integrity, there are some potential side effects on language learning .Students may become
overly reliant on Grammarly for correcting their writing, potentially hindering the
development of their own editing and proofreading skills. This dependency could lead to a
lack of confidence in their own writing abilities without the aid of automated tools.
This study aims to provide an insights in terms of the effects of using Grammarly in language
learning among BEED students of GVCFI .
This part primarily presents the related literatures and studies after the

BEED is a four-year degree program designed to prepare students for careers as elementary
school teachers. It combines theoretical knowledge with practical teaching skills to equip
students with the necessary competencies for teaching in the elementary education level.
It aims to cultivate highly competent teacher-researchers who specialize in elementary
education content and pedagogy
Theoretical lens
1. What are the effects of Grammarly there in language learning among BEED students
of Green Valley College Foundation Inc.?
2. Is there a significance different on the effect of using Grammarly in language learning
among BEED?
A)Age:
B)Sex:
Students: The study is relevant to the students which they are central to studying how
Grammarly affects language learning because they are the ones using the tool to enhance
their writing skills. Their experiences, feedback, and improvement in language proficiency
provide valuable insights into the effectiveness of Grammarly as a learning aid.
Teachers: Teachers play a crucial role in studying how Grammarly affects students’
language learning because they provide guidance, evaluate students’ writing, and can
observe changes in their language proficiency over time. Teachers’ perspectives can help
researchers understand how Grammarly integrates into classroom environments and how it
influences students’ writing habits and language acquisition.
Future researchers: Future researchers are relevant in studying how Grammarly affects
students’ language learning because they can build upon existing research, expand the
scope of inquiry, and validate or challenge previous findings. Their investigations can delve
deeper into specific aspects of Grammarly’s impact, explore its long-term effects on
language proficiency, and assess its effectiveness across different contexts and student
populations.
Definition of terms
The following terms were defined according to how they are being used in the study:
Grammarly: Grammarly” is defined as an online writing assistance tool designed to improve
the writing skills of the students.
Language learning :The process by which individuals acquire the ability to understand,
communicate, and use a new language. This can involve learning vocabulary, grammar rules,
pronunciation, and cultural nuances.
BEED students: BEED students are those enrolled in Bachelor of Elementary Education
programs. These students are preparing to become elementary school teachers, focusing
on subjects relevant to teaching elementary-level subjects.
Effects: This Concepts refers to the effects of using Grammarly in language learning of our
respondents .
METHOD
Research Design: We used Quantitative research on our study because quantitative
research allows you to measure the impact of Grammarly on language learning outcomes
using specific metrics such as test scores, writing samples, or proficiency levels. This
enables you to quantitatively assess the effectiveness of Grammarly in improving various
aspects of language learning, such as grammar, vocabulary, and writing skills. And by using
quantitative methods, you can compare the language learning outcomes of BEED students
who use Grammarly with those who do not. This comparison helps to determine whether
Grammarly has a statistically significant effect on language learning when compared to
traditional learning methods.
Participants: The participants of this study will be the selected BEED students ( BEED
program) at Green Valley College Foundation Incorporated.
