Based on the table above, it can be seen that the real number of
personnel for each Sub Regional Police is far from the number of the
requirements needed.

reducing traffic accidents ?

The daily, weekly, and annual plans for community education

activities carried out by the Surabaya Police have not run
optimally because face-to-face activities are unconsistent and
only run well if there is a request from schools in Surabaya
(Interview, October 5, 2023).

tasks has been carried out according to their
respective job descriptions, but the implementation is
still not going well because there are members who do
not understand the tasks given so that they require
others assistance in accomplishing their tasks
( Interview, October 5, 2023 ).

carried out with activities reported to the Chief of
Surabaya Sub Regional Police every month.
However, each unit is required to make a report and
sending their activity documentation to the
Surabaya Police Traffic Unit’s Whatsapp Group.

CONCLUSION
The aspects of human resource regarding both
quantity and quality are still not meeting the
required standards

The traffic education carried out by the

unit is not optimal yet based on the POAC
